Ok this may take a few minutes to read, but I really appreciate the customer service at this place. They were very patient informative, regarding every peace of furniture I was interested in. Also, let me say this please don’t take every negative review that comes across this platform as true. Some people may give a bad review because of a mistake they may have made or things didn’t turn out the way they wanted it to go. Or maybe they just had a bad day. You never know. For example, I live in San Diego and my wife and I were looking for some good furniture and a good deal. We just so happened to find Raining Discounts. So, before we went into the store we looked up their Reviews. There was one particular review that caught my attention. I cut, Copied, and pasted it to myself. When I pulled up to the store and talked with the Manager, I asked him to read it and explain what happened with this customer. He actually took the time and let me know what the real deal was. The reason why I know he was being truthful is he went all the way back and showed the customer came in not really knowing what she wanted. She purchased it but when it was dropped off to her house she began to complain. It was not the company fault it was totally the customers fault, the text showed when she said I don’t like it! And it was the same identical furniture she asked for and ordered in the store.. You really need to go there for yourself and see the affordable furniture they have. We bought 2. Beds right out the door. These were the most impressive, informative people who holds fast to their Morals, Values, and Ethics. I will be going back soon. Please check it out for yourself. If I could give no stars I would. I never leave reviews but I’ve also never been treated how I was, and believe that people should know what kind of people run this establishment. I came in to rent a U-haul due to U-haul having to switch my reservation for not having what I rented. U-haul themselves offered 20 off and extra miles due to the inconvenience. I agreed and went to the alternate pick up location which led me here. The man told me the total, I informed him what the lady over the phone told me about the discount due to the inconvenience of switching our pick up location. He stated that it wasn’t in the notes which was no big deal I just let him know I can call them to see what was going on. I called them let them know that the man stated the 20 off wasn’t in the notes as well as them Not having materials I had already paid for because my original pick up was at the u-haul store. He begin to yell telling me to get out his store because he doesn’t like my attitude, he is no thief, and I didn’t pay for anything in advance. I am uploading the amount that I paid for the materials just like I was trying to explain to him. The thing that got me is that I was not saying he was responsible for the materials I was asking her about the 20 off and asking where I needed to go to pick up the materials!!! The man is ridiculously unreasonable and did not allow me and the actually U-Haul rep see where I was supposed to go to pick up the materials instead he called me a liar about paying for materials, but here is the proof. After buying my house, I was in need of new furniture. After checking with the big name stores, I was looking for a less expensive option. A friend recommended I check out FB Marketplace. I found Raining Discounts LLC on there and was interested in their inventory. I reached out to Tim and made arrangements to check out the store in person. Their inventory was top notch, as was their service. Tim was extremely helpful in going over what they have in stock, what items they have and how to best furnish my home. He even highlighted their site, which I used to select the best option. I opted to get a dining table set for my initial purchase and was satisfied with (1) the price (2) how quickly the item was delivered (3) the service in the delivery and install and (4) the overall effort shown by this company to ensure a smooth process from beginning to end.
