When I walked over to the restaurant so I could get my wife and I something to eat for dinner. I thought we was in a family owned restaurant that made homemade Mexican food the prices was higher than I would expect them to be, but with us starting at the hotel right behind it /that it would be a good idea instead of going out and driving around with the restitution that are now in place. I found that we paid for two carne asada burritos and two orders of fries $23.30 when I went back to our room and started to eat we found out that the carne asada meat was filled with fat and was not actual carne asada meat it was stuffed with the fat and beans and rice, I took not even a quarter piece off out of my burrito and try to eat it it did not work out too well for me so my wife takes through what she could to eat and everybody who is filled with that fat that was inside the burrito I decided to take the burritos back and the gentleman said oh that is corn carne asada meat but we're different than the Filibertos where we normally go and get our carne asada fries and burritos I I do not recommend this restaurant for the simple fact that he said he would give us our money back for the burritos then told his employee to check the burritos and he said the burritos are almost all gone which was a complete insult to me because I am a certified sous chef I graduated a culinary school in Ogden Utah and I know that we did not eat those burritos our stomachs are now not feeling too well and I was told that I would not get our money back because the burritos were eaten I find that this restaurant needs better management and better product for their food I would give them zero Stars if they...
Read moreMy mother in law suggested this place and I judged it because of the location in town as well as the appearance of the place on the outside. I was not expecting for the food to be authentic and so delicious. We were initially going to order the food to go since it was 30mins until closing but the employee made us welcome to stay and eat. There was even a couple other people that came in after us and we're welcome last minute. This place has such amazing homemade pozole and agua frescas. The pozole hominy is fresh and not out of a can. I love the side plate that comes with; it has pork rinds, two rolled tacos, tostadas and all the condiments to put in to the pozole. Along with a chili oil that was spicy and delicious. My favorite part of the pozole was that it's served in traditional barro style bowls. Their menu varies on what's available per day. Thursdays they have pozole. Friday they have Mole and the weekends it's menudo. I will go back to try something...
