Update: The owner called us and apologized saying this is not their policy at all they are to serve all products till closing and that she was sorry for the employees telling us that. We revisited a week later and Lilly, I believe her name is, has been working here a while and she also apologized for the service and she said it was her day off and that would have never happened if she was working. The owner said she’s going to be talking with staff to make sure this does not happen again. Overall this place is great for old school styles of candy and great ice cream. Just need to make sure the people running the place is doing so in a manner they are supposed to.

We have been coming here for years. They close at 10 we get in line inside at 9:40. Wait in line till 10:16 and was told while we were at the counter next to be served that they are not doing anymore shakes and we were the last people to be served. Never mentioned this to anyone during the 30 minute wait in line until the last people step up to be served.

We have spent I would assume thousands here with a family of 14-16 coming 9-10 times per 2 week vacation trip. I won’t be spending another dollar in here. This place was so much better customer service when Brad owned it. They actually cared about their customers that keep their doors open and...

Just left Madeira Beach location. My family walks in with masks because it’s the law now in Pinellas County as of yesterday so I asked the 3 young men working and asked them if they were requiring masks because 2 other family’s in a 5x8 space with my family with no masks and a line out the door of people with no masks. One of the employees responded with “Were not the police”. Reason why Florida businesses should be shut down. Avoid Candy Kitchen. I’m all for local businesses but they are a reason businesses like them should be closed at times like this. Owners obviously care nothing about safety during times like these. They have old fashion candy . And the cinnamon candy is excellent. Next time I go in the store I'm going to try their lemon drops. They have all kinds of candy there. I just didn't look for sugar-free I should have. Because I have to take eating low sugar candy . Do to my right leg. I was born without a quadricep. And I wear a support stocking to keep the blood flowing . And I don't want to become diabetic. Because of Stace ulcers I get on my right ankle. That's why I look for sugar-free candy.
