On March 9, 2023 at around 10am I was there to have breakfast with my brother, there was a mistake on the charges and we asked for corrections when we recived our order the half sandwich was literally a miniature size like for a childs plate and we ordered the full sandwich meal, and so because we asked for changes on the order the manager (a male) approached us and verbally told my brother, can't read???.look at the board!..pointing at the menu board, you only get half sandwich!!.. He seem to be in a bad mood" I saw the menu and literally the pictures on the board are misleading showing a huge and full sandwich and we got a tiny skinny one like I mention the size of a child and for the high price I was paying it seem a joke.. The manager approached me and verbally told me.. "You are always here anyway," turning his back at me, and I responded, "What do you mean i'm always here ?" Yes, i'm a regular here. I always come to eat here, and i think you should treat your customers with respect and this is the way you treat me?. Why are you being so rude you're not supposed to fight the customer, just because we want to make a change or we have an issue with the order? why don't you respect the customer? i said.... Then he replied, " It used to be like that. NOT anymore. " So, then he turned his back at me and didn't face me anymore. Very embarrassing situation ,there was a line of people listening and watching 👀 I'm a regular customer and i'm always there and the service has been really down lately, this manager usually gets upset because every time we go there we ask for coffee and every time we try to get it the coffee is cold ! so they have to make a new batch.. They do not check on the coffee, always empty or cold. This particular manager( male) was very rude , never takes care of you with a smile or good actitud ,when we ask to get hot coffee ( always cold) he get upset. This manager embarrassed us in front of all the customers wsiting in line, They couldn't make any changes to the bill, so what they did was they refunded the whole entire bill, and then we have to repurchase again. They added the extra piece of sandwich that was ordered to begin with.. The order came with the wrong bread and they never bothered to ask what kind of bread we needed because they were upset. Read moreI live in the area and used to get take-out for breakfast from this location on my way to work until I realized that I would need to build in a lot more time in order to compensate for the super slow service. That was years and years ago, and I haven't been a regular since then, but once in three blue moons, when time hasn't been limited, I've attempted to give them another try only to find that they've gotten worse. For example, this afternoon I wanted a cup of coffee and there were only two parties ahead of me in line. One was finally able to complete their transaction and then the other stood waiting for the cashier to return to the counter to take her order. There was no greeting or comment from the cashier to say that she would be with this customer soon, while she moved about doing different things behind the counter. I waited a few minutes more and then finally gave up and left. This is at least the third time (over the last few years) that I've gone into this less than half empty location and found that either no one was at the register ready to take orders (even after I gave them a few minutes to appear) or it was taking forever for one or two parties to complete their transactions (and it wasn't because they were ordering half the menu). I estimate that I have walked in and out (empty handed) on at least three occasions, even when I was next in queue. Read moreI just had a horrible experience at this location. The cashier rang up the wrong sandwich even though I clearly pointed at the picture where the sandwich said $8.99. But she charge me for another sandwich that was $11.99. the manager on duty was on her break and had to get up off her break to refund me and she was not pleasant at all. No smile, no apologies, as a the matter fact, she tried to blame it on me?!!
Very rude. Basically threw utensils in the bag and Didn’t even look at me, didn’t even say goodbye.
The coffee that I purchased was so cold that I left the coffee right next to the coffee counter. I did not want to go back and complain because of course I was going to get a backlash of attitude from that manager.
Owners I would take another look at that manager she is not a friendly person and should not be in the hospitality business.
I am a professional that travels globally and have lived in the Southbay for 25 years with my office is here in Riviera Village.
That did not feel like any corner bakery in our neighborhood, that felt very ugly!
