Haven’t been down PCH in a while so decided to take a stroll around.
Parking: There’s a free parking structure at 1800 S PCH.
Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with a decent amount of indoor seating and very limited outdoor seating. I love the kitty art on the walls and furniture! Sooo cute! Perfect spot for a boba date or simply hangout with friends & family. I visited around 16:00, and they were consistently busy.
Service: There were only two workers. Shout out to them for holding it down. It was busy, but they were quick & efficient.
Drinks & dessert:
See-side (green Thai milk tea) - This is one of their newer drinks. The color looked great, though I thought the flavor was very light. Maybe steep the tea a bit longer?
Thai Milk Tea w/ Taro - This is one of the employee’s favorites. It looked aesthetically fun and tasted even better! The Thai tea and taro mixed well together.
Vietnamese iced coffee - This is 2/2 newer drinks. As someone who grew up drinking Vietnamese coffee, this was okay. It’s not strong or bold like a viet coffee should be. It wasn’t sweet either .. I mainly tasted milk.
Mango Lime Tea w/ boba - Now this was refreshing! All the flavors came through! The boba tasted as expected and not too chewy.
Creme Brûlée & Strawberries bubble waffle - Perfect to satisfy a sweet craving! The creme brûlée drizzle was sooo delicious!
Pricing: Prices are reasonable. I love the ambiance here. The bubble waffles were delicious. Some drinks can use an adjustment, but I’d come back to try their...
Read moreCame here after fellowship as it's the only tea place that was still open at this hour and a brother was craving for hot tea so here we are, late Friday night. I'm really happy to learn that there's free parking inside the building as for the longest time I thought it was for residents only for some reason. Now that I'm aware of this, I'll be visiting this plaza more frequent!!!
The shop itself is nice and cute. They have very limited hot drinks so that was a bit disappointed. He got the hot Thai milk tea and i was unable to find anything hot that I would enjoy so decided to try the mango milk tea. Because my friend decided to order the drink 25% sugar, it prompted me to order mine 50% (big mistake). He enjoyed his drink but mine was definitely lacking. I would recommend ordering the mango milk tea normal sugar level. Next time! I like how the drink came with actual bits of mango, that's refreshing. I heard from the girl working there that taro milk tea is the same way. I'm definitely coming back to try that.
I also love the fact that they have many snacks available but wish their selections were more catered to their drinks. There were nothing that matched the drinks which was quit disappointing.
Overall: loved the service and the chill ambient. It was pretty empty by the time we got there but it's almost closing time and it was appreciated. I live close by so I'll be back soon to try more drinks and maybe suggest some snacks that would match...
Read moreBeen to the café twice and tried two of their drinks, been loving both drinks so far.
The environment – probably one of the cutest and coziest bubble tea shop I have visited so far. The lighting is warm and welcoming while the couch is super comfy. I could see people hanging out there all day when covid is over.
Now the drinks
Golden Pineapple – I would say this is their signature drinks. This is the most refreshing tea I’ve ever tried. The drink is made with fresh crashed pineapple. I believe they added passion fruit and Jasmine tea to the mix which actually give the drink extra fragrance.
Strawberry Frostie – it’s pretty much a strawberry smoothie, but they blended with tea (Jasmine or Oolong) which gives the drink extra tea flavor. What’s special about the drink is that they use fresh strawberry for the blend and the cheesefoam give it extra creamy texture. For those of you wondering what cheesefoam is, it is basically liquid form of cream cheese. I would say this is the best strawberry smoothie I have ever tried in my life.
The parking – Parking is in the rear of the store, it’s free and pretty easy to find.
The best part is that they are still doing soft opening, so they have 20% off on all drinks. I think the owner said that this offer will last until they grand open which will be...
