‼️(UPDATED REVIEW, FAITH RESTORED IN HUMANITY!!!)‼️ Looking at the review below it sadens my heart that I took part in being so NASTY I think before I truly gave anyone a chance! I would like to give the biggest thank you to Derrick Frost who is the assistant general manager and as it turns out he really does know what good customer service is and his job is so much important. He was the one that put up with my attitude even while being sick and as soon as he was able he got me a refund and many apologies. He also promised me that he would not let this kind of thing happen again. I was wrong and I say it, I WAS WRONG! My biggest apologies to the Extended Stay and ESPECIALLY to Derrick! In this world we can be so nasty and ugly to each other and it just seems to snowball and now it just seems to be just the norm these days but if we would just check ourselves once in awhile and show the same patients, kindness, respect and love that we are demanding maybe that could become the snowball and the norm. Imagine a world where everyone shows love and kindness to each other!!!! There is not ANYONE of us perfect or not a place that is perfect but just finding love in yourself will also find happiness, peace and a better world for ALL of us. I will never give up hope and thank you Derrick for restoring my faith. It's a HUGE thing to me and I know I was terrible to deal with so just ... THANK YOU!
❌HEAL❌TH ❌HAZ❌ARD:❌ My mother and I stayed in room 116 on Feb 3rd. We had to leave our room at 3am due to the filth, black mold and cockroaches in our room. The front desk lady, Rosa offered us another room but then continued to argue with my mother about the fact that roaches spread very quickly and we were not willing to take the chance for our things to be infested. Rosa stated that we would need to speak to her manager at 7am. Me and my 50 year old disabled mother and our service dog had to SLEEP IN OUR CAR just to have the assistant general manager, Derrick that the numerous pictures I provided had to be investigated by his audit team and they only work on regular business days. Derrick was very uncaring and refused to even offer an apology. It was TERRIBLE customer service and not to mention a health hazard. I'm not exactly sure why he holds the title of "assistant general manager" if he can do nothing more than want front desk Rosa can do and if he has very poor customer service skills that make it very apparent he does not care about extended stays customers that keep their business running. Seems like a waste of management money to me but what do I know! Anywho, I most definitely will be filing a complaint! I'm also researching how to file a complaint in regards to the health hazard that can be caused by the nastiness...
Read moreI do not recommend this hotel, especially for anyone with accessibility needs. I booked a room for my mother, who was recovering from hip replacement surgery, and specifically chose this hotel because the website stated that their ADA-accessible rooms featured either walk-in showers or tubs with shower seats.||Prior to our stay, I visited the hotel to verify the accommodations, but I was told I could not view the room because no manager was on duty. I was assured by the front desk that the room I booked was ADA compliant.||When we checked in, the room had a standard bathtub with no shower seat provided. When I asked the front desk, I was told the hotel does not supply them—directly contradicting the information on their website. I informed the manager, Cesar, but his response was dismissive and unhelpful. We had to go purchase our own shower seat to meet my mother’s needs.||Additionally, this hotel lacks ADA-compliant entry doors, which I’ve never encountered at any other hotel claiming to be accessible. A red Dodge Charger remained parked in a designated handicap space during our stay without any visible placard or permit—yet this went unaddressed by staff.||We also rented a lift chair to help my mother safely get up and down. Upon delivery, Cesar refused to allow the chair in the room, calling it a "fire hazard" and telling me that "just because I rented a room doesn’t mean I can do whatever I want." When I asked for a reasonable solution and explained the medical necessity, he offered no alternatives and again refused entry of the chair. The delivery personnel, who were present during this interaction, also commented on the manager’s unprofessional behavior. We were ultimately forced to redirect the delivery to another location.||Following this, we decided to check out early. To make matters worse, when I received my final guest folio, it was addressed to someone named Rutendo Kare—completely unrelated to my reservation.||In short, this hotel misrepresents its accessibility features, fails to accommodate guests with medical needs, and provides poor customer service. I would strongly advise against staying here, especially if accessibility or compassionate service is...
Read moreThis is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. It seems to be a vagrant-type hotel. If we had not paid in advance without possibility of refund, we would have walked out the moment we saw the lobby. The premises are FILTHY- trash in elevators, hallways, lobby and on the hotel grounds. After Day 4 of a 14-day stay, nothing has been cleaned. Tenants throw trash bags and dirty linen in the hallways and it may sit for over 24 hours before housekeeping staff picks it up. The neighborhood is very unsafe. Cars in the parking lot have literally been put on blocks and tires removed. Other vehicles have obviously been broken into- glass on ground and carpets over the broken windows. Handicapped parking is filled with illegally parked cars- no placards or handicapped plates. Management is not concerned. EVERY side and back exit is continuously propped open with rocks. When reported, desk clerk responded, "Oh the guests always do that." No security on premises. Dog walk areas are filled with pet excrement. You cannot walk without stepping in poo. Only one dog station is available and it is filled with old plastic Walmart bags. Guests do not pick up after their pets and the hotel doesn't clean up the grounds either. The rooms are filthy, run-down messes. The carpet is stained all over and smells musky. The furniture is beat-up, scratched, drawers do not open or close smoothly. No hangers. Sheets are worn and dingy gray-white. The heater/air conditioner in rooms smell like burnt plastic when it heats up. We turned it off to prevent a fire. The cooktop stove is not adhered to the counter and is warped and sticks up over 1 inch on one corner. Very unsafe. No dishes, dish towels or soap is provided supposedly due to CoVid. Hotel advertises a grab and go breakfast, but none is provided. We noticed a large coffee pot with no cups, cream or sugar on 1 out of the 4 days we have been here. We will be making reports to the Rio Rancho Fire and Police Department about unsafe conditions. On a positive note, the refrigerator is large and clean and rooms come with a full-size ironing board and iron. We will never stay in this hotel ever again and we suggest other guests...
