Visited my local (NW Albuquerque, New Mexico) Red Lobster (#6280) restaurant (10520 Coors Bypass NW, Albuquerque NM 87114) on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023 around 12:30PM. Party of two (2).
This particular day, we did NOT have to wait to be seated. Our charming, super impressive Greeter/Server, (Ms. Ashley M.), guided us to our table within 60 seconds of arriving. Awesome!
We ordered a Calamari appetizer ($13.29), an order of "Shrimp Your Way" for $17.00 (Coconut Shrimp & Walt's Favorite), an order of Lobster & Shrimp Tacos ($17.99), one House Salad ($1.99), a Sweet Iced Tea ($3.69) and a complimentary iced water w/fresh lemon. "Ashley M." also informed me that I had a free Desert earned through "My Red Lobster Rewards". Yessss!!
Total, including tax, was $58.08.
We usually Dine-in or Carryout at this Red Lobster restaurant about 5 or 6 times yearly. It's NOT our go-to preference mainly because we seem to usually go when the place is packed w customers and there's barely enough standing space during the "wait". Our last Dine-in visit was during the 2022 Christmas season.
Sadly, too often during busier times in the past there was usually something 'missing' from our dine-in Order, or the 'wait' for our meal to make it to the table seemed excessive. Also, the Wait Staff during past visits, appeared overrun! Too many hungry guests and not enough Servers! Yikes!
This latest visit was PERFECT! Ms. Ashley M. was VERY attentive to not only us, but other guests seated nearby as well! She explained Menu items to us, checked on us throughout the meal, answered our questions, responded to our requests (for extra napkins), and gave us direct eye contact through it all! She was patient, respectful, courteous and had the most AMAZING Customer Service skillset.
We were so surprised at how excellent the FOOD tasted and how professional the Service was (compared to previous visits) that we wondered if this location changed Management since our last visit!đ
Very, very enjoyable dining experience, made even more Special because of Ms. Ashley M.!

We were told it would be ready in 20 min(small order) so I head that way. I arrive to both Olive Garden and red lobster parking lots overfilled and people standing by the Red lobster door despite the signs saying to text and theyâd bring it to you. I quickly found out why. I texted the number a few times with no response and finally walked up to the front with everyone. The employees were continually telling everyone âoh I think the 5pm orders are being worked on nowâ and other such nonsense. They string is along for about 3 hours before everyone gets really angry and start trying to cancel orders. This prompts the employees to crank up their BS about orders coming out âoh I think yours is nextâ. At 930, yes 930, they finally say if you used a third party like grub hub or door dash and they donât have the ticket, they wonât fill the order. Nice to know that at that point. I can handle them being behind, but they straight up lied to many many people who continued waiting and ,probably like me, got to enjoy the Taco Bell drive thru at 10pm on Motherâs Day. One couple asked if theyâd be compensated for this since they spent half their day just trying to get supper, âno because this covid stuff. we Are running behindâ. Another couple ordered their stuff at 10am, were told itâd be ready at 5 , and didnât get their food either. Iâve never experienced mismanagement of this level at any business ever. They were bringing food out at a ridiculously slow rate by the end when youâd think they would try to clear the tickets. Idk if the manager was there, but if not they need to really listen when they get flooded with phone calls today. It doesnât matter if itâs corporates fault they were understaffed, the staff at your store couldnât be honest and tell us the orders wouldnât be filled earlier in the evening so we could make other arrangements.    Read moreI've been here about 3 days this week and this visit was terrible the service was okay I'm not mad at my server I'm upset because my food was prepared very terribly and they literally just sat it in the kitchen and let it get cold and then decided to give it to me after that I ordered some dips to go I was then told that they didn't have one of my dips then I asked the manager to double-check and he did and all of a sudden they have my dip that I wanted to order I ordered one Lobster Dip and one crab dip to go they charged me regular price but only gave me half of a cup of the Lobster Dip now if you're going to give me a half a cup of Lobster Dip don't charge me the whole price that's just not okay and let me know before I leave the restaurant so that I don't get home and get disappointed and start getting upset writing bad reviews I'm very disappointed in this trip I drove 25 miles to get to this restaurant needless to say I'm very disappointed and I still don't understand why they have a menu That's nowhere near as good as their old menu yeah I need to go back to serving the stuff that really tastes good! Go back to serving the buffalo wings you guys used to serve the fish sandwiches with the wonderful tartar sauce with the carrots in there that you guys used to serve the baked potato soup you guys used to serve the grilled chicken with the mango salsa that you guys used to serve I don't understand where all these good things are you guys are selling half a crap I went there the other day and I literally ordered a steak and it was as hard as a rock I'm not just talking about this particular Red Lobster as far as the old menu I'm talking about every Red Lobster y'all need to go back to serving what was working what was delicious and that is...
