Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Where to begin. I used to go here years ago for the best ice cream around. This evening was just terrible. First, we arrive at 9:20 with one couple ordering in front of us. One employee is taking their order while the other 2 are cleaning. They continued to clean, although I felt they should have acknowledged us and taken our order. As the couple in front of us finished, the employee taking the order said nothing and walked to the back. There we were waiting again. About 2 minutes later a different employee walks out to take our order (finally). Overall Terrible Customer Service.

Lastly, my milkshake was garbage. 90% milk and 10% ice cream. It had consistency of no-pulp orange juice. Milkshakes should be thick and creamy, not juicy. $15 dollars for that terrible experience. Save your money and take your...

The guy who was serving just now was extremely rude. I tried ordering banana caramel crunch and he said there was no bananas. So then I tried ordering sweet cream with butterfingers. He said we dont have butterfingers. I said oh so your out of that also? He said what are you talking about.. in the history of cold stone we never had butterfingers. I said what are you talking about, my wife and I just had it in san diego couple months ago and also had it in Maryland not too long ago. He said well New Mexico Cold Stone never carried butterfingers Ever. So because of his attitude towards customers, my family and my friends will never come back to this location ever again. I come here once a week and I came here 2 days ago too. But never again. Customer service is horrible. Or maybe he is...

This location did not have my pre ordered cake ready when they said they would. Staff rushed to put it together, eventually handing me a very sloppy cake with the WRONG NAME WRITTEN ON IT. I couldnt even fully tell what the name even said. I asked them to redo the writing. The manager, Tony, was very polite and tried his best to fix the cake. But it was mediocre at best. At this point, the sides of the cake were melting and were being held together with chocolate shavings. When eating the cake, later on, we realized that I ordered a yellow cake with cookie dough, and got choclate cake with no cookie dough. I was reimbursed $6 on a $40 cake, "that was the best they could do". Wont be coming to this location anymore....
