From the moment she greeted me with the warmth of a thousand heated blankets, I knew I was in good hands. She wasn’t just approachable—she radiated nap energy. I trusted her instantly, which is wild because I barely trust my own spine. She listened to my chaotic sleep patterns (some nights I sleep like a vampire in a wind tunnel, other nights like a bear that drank espresso) and nodded like, “Yes. I’ve seen this before.” Chills.

Then came the bed trials. I laid down on every mattress like I was auditioning for a mattress-based remake of The Matrix. Torrie watched, unfazed, as I flopped like a salmon on a Tempur-Pedic waterfall. I walked into Mattress Firm and was immediately greeted by Alec and Torrie, who were both exceptionally friendly and knowledgable. I thought I had an idea of what I was looking for coming in, but was quickly swayed by Torrie’s advice and helpfulness. She helped me narrow down the qualities I was looking for and gave me a great tour. After walking through different options, we found my dream bed and I am so excited to say that I signed for it the same day. Torrie was incredibly helpful walking me through the financial aspect as well as making sure I was thoroughly satisfied. Two days ago, my husband came into the store and was helped by Kasey to pinpoint 3 different companies that offered the type of mattress we were looking for. Kasey later that afternoon texted us with all the detailed info about the 3 mattresses. Yesterday, we both went in and we were helped by Tory, the manager of the store. She was phenomenal with all the information she knew. We took awhile to decide and during that time 3 other customers came in. We were impressed with how she accommodated exactly what they were looking for and within their price range. Her two employees were taking classes to learn more about the mattresses in Portland.
