Sizzler — Restaurant in Roseburg

The customer service we received here should be the benchmark ALL others strive to meet! I am not easy to please because I believe that when you pay for a meal...you are paying for a service as well. Case in point...You take your vehicle to a mechanic and they use cheap parts and do a half *ssed job and leave your car seat and steering wheel greasy...Would you accept that? Would you pay for that? I would NOT. Same thing at a restaurant...you pay to get a quality meal and quality service. Sizzler Roseburg delivered in spades!

I ordered alfredo and salad bar...I REALLY wanted a good salad and their salad bar looked incredible. Well, I get my salad and I am happy as a clam...then I take a bite and the ranch dressing is horrid (or maybe not to my liking). I have been driving all day and I am very dissappointed. At this moment the manager walks by and asks if everything is ok (kudos for asking, most don't care enough to ask). My reply is NO, the ranch is nasty and I won't eat it, can I please cancel my order and order something else? He answered YES, what would you like. What I ordered was approx $5 more than my previous order and I was prepared to pay the difference. The manager would not allow us to pay the difference, made the change and offered a trip to the salad bar for something other than the salad. Then he asked the waitress to get me a basket of shrimp so I could eat WITH my wife. ((OK, when going out to eat with someone, you expect to eat WITH them, not before or after...this manager understood that without me causing a fuss. If you are a server...PAY ATTENTION because this was top notch service!)) My only regret was that our route did not come back through Roseburg, OR so we could return to Sizzler for another meal! OH, by the way, the steak was cooked perfectly, the shrimp was...WOW. Rarely can ANY place cook shrimp properly, they always cook it till its tough and stringy, nice work Sizzler...perfection on every level (except the ranch, lol)!

Salad bar is great. Staff was friendly. Clean and enjoyable. Not to expensive. Today Thanksgiving 2018 is a special day I will never forget and those of you that read this I hope it touches your hearts. My wife Laura and I came to town Roseburg for our Thanksgiving dinner it’s by chance we happen to stop at sizzler. I ordered the Turkey dinner and Laura had the 14 oz ribeye. When our arrived I was to say the least a little disappointed at the servings and Laura’s steak was rare not med rare. Our waitress Lex synced something was wrong and brought the manager Mr. Keenan Carrillo to our table. We explained what was wrong and he with a smile on his face said no worries he would take care of it. Keenan then went back to the kitchen and a few minutes later return with a meal fit for a king. Laura’s steak was redone to med rare. As I ate I realized I couldn’t eat it all and wanted to help someone less fortunate out. I wanted to find someone in need to feed and Laura suggested we ask Keenan if Sizzler would like to donate and we would take it downtown to feed those less fortunate and with that same smile Mr Carrillo told us to hangout and he would do what he could. The kind act of this man has touch our hearts and let us know that kind and caring people still exists. If you ever get a chance to eat at Roseburg sizzler thank Mr. Carrillo for his generosity and wonderful customer service. My wife and I will never...

There is a handicap ramp but there is not a access to automatically open the doors. I found that the buffet bar was very limited for lunch hour the only protein was deep fat fried chicken wings barbecued chicken wings and spaghetti with meatballs. I just ate salad which was all right it wasn't the best I've had and I had the house dressing which was very thick. We did not notice until we sat at the table that the drinks are not included with the buffet I was charged $3.59 per soda and we were not offered a refill until we caught the attention of the waitress customer service was not good. I am usually a good Tipper when it is deserved buy friendliness character and just good hospitality I did not leave a tip on the table. My mother-in-law ordered the chicken rib platter it came with three very small ribs that I had to take the little bit of meat off the bone for her and a chicken patty that was tough to cut with the steak knife and she ordered the garlic mashed potatoes as her side.
