Myself and my wife have over the years had multiple bad experiences with jewelry companies. Basically we always found the sales person that didn't care about the outcome just their sale or commission. Around 2010 (we think, it's been a really long time) we came to Kay Jewelers at valley River center in Eugene Oregon. We came through the store multiple times as my wife really liked the chocolate diamonds and unique pieces that Le Vian had to offer. But we didn't really care for the employees that we came into contact with. Not that they where bad or lacking in any way, just that we were Leary. On one day my wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Leslie Timme-MacGregor , she was overly patient with my wife as she tried on multiple pieces of jewelry and fielded all of her questions. We hesitantly applied for a credit line and decided to move forward with a ring purchase. When the ring came in Leslie called my wife personally to let her know that it arrived, but that it was damaged and that she had already re-orderd it and rushed the order as she knew how exited my wife was to get it. When the order was received again Leslie called my wife to let her know that it was again in , but that she had advocated on my wife's behalf and gotten her an additional discount due to the extra hassle and wait time. Since that initial visit and purchase we have came back to purchase items such as watches, multiple rings , necklaces and now my first signet ring. Last summer 2023 we found out that Leslie was moving down to the Roseburg store and where sad to find out that she would not be our jewelry store saleswoman. When I went back to the original store I found it to be lackluster to some degree not having Leslie there. After a trip to Roseburg for a family trip we decided to stop in and say hello. We brought it to Leslie's attention that I was in the market for my signet ring for a organization that I belong to and missed being able to deal with her. She brought up that we could simply order it through her at her new store. She immediately started looking for wat I wanted as I wanted a specific nugget style signet ring. We exchanged multiple calls and pictures before I came to a conclusion and we put it on order in early December 2024. After just a week I got my customary message that my ring was in and that it had a even better price than we had anticipated. I have never felt compelled to give any reviews for any purchases that I have made, but in this case both myself and my wife felt it necessary to make sure that Leslie gets the credit. We now will happily drive to Roseburg because the customer service we get makes it worth knowing that we will get the best customer service possible in our 18 years of marriage and will continue to do so each time we decide we can't live withwithout a new collectable or sparkly.

Read moreI love my ring I got from this Kays a few months ago. The staff here are really kind and patient. However since I bought my ring it has been out for service five times. The shop that does the work for Kays is awful. My ring went out for sizing and they sent it back without sizing it. It went out to add prongs because my stone was loose and they didn’t even push all the prongs down. I recently got it back and a diamond fell out the next day so it went back to service. Again the staff is really kind and wants to make this right. They are all kind wonderful people. But the shop that does the service work is why I likely will not purchase any further Jewelry from Kays. They’ve had my ring more than I have had it in the last four months. I’m making payments on a ring that I’m not even getting to enjoy. And a huge chunk of that is going to interest. The interest rate with the financing is really high wich I wasn’t aware of until after. If it comes back wrong one more time I don’t even want the ring anymore but my only option will be to exchange it. So I don’t know. I’d say it’s a good place to buy jewelry from with friendly staff but when you need service work done it doesn’t have a great shop behind them. Update: I got my ring back from service and a prong was loose 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ So I ended up having to...
Read moreI have had THE ABSOLUTE BEST service at Kay Jewlers! From being greeted seconds upon walking through the door, to personable conversations while in the store, to making sure I'm out the door a happy customer. I recently customized a ring with the help of Anna and Sam. When I got it back, I had it only a day before stones fell out. I went back in the next day, where Anna had discovered it was very poorly made. She quickly made it right by sending the design to a different jewler and guaranteeing it would be done correctly this time around. I picked it up today, and couldn't be more satisfied! Not only that, but I went and customized a ring for my daughter for Christmas, again with the help of Sam, and was treated with the utmost respect and care! I am so excited to get the ring back and gift it to her for Christmas as it is a personalized ring with her birthstone of Opal in lavender (as purple is her favorite). I was given great deals and prices. Kay Jewlers always has...
