My Mom turned 90 and all she wanted for her Birthday was a REALLY GOOD steak! So of course, we went to a 'steakhouse'. UNFORTUNATELY, we chose this one. Ordered the $28 Ribeye to go. Got home, set up her party, decor, camera ready, and opened up the box to find that nearly 60% (SIXTY PERCENT) of the steak was nothing but Pure FAT!!!! I carved and carved trying to find meat. Loaded up a plate with Fat....and called them. Manager Carrie took the call, was very apologetic and was very sorry my Mom's birthday dinner was ruined. She told me she was refunding the dinner and that she'd have 'Augie' the manager call me tomorrow and let me know how I'd get my money back. I told her we live in Canyonville and I wasn't going to drive back that night.
I told her I wanted my money back instead of a gift card. Next day, no call. I called and Augie wanted to know what the problem was. I had to go through the whole story again. He said, "I don't appreciate your disrespect!!!! You don't just call and talk to people like that and call names". I asked what names? What people? He just said over and over how he didn't like to be disrespected. I told him I didn't like how HE was disrespecting his customers by ignoring them. He said he'd give a gift card. I told him that I didn't want a gift card since it was such a horrible dinner, and that I wanted my money back so I could go elsewhere and get her a good steak. He Yelled saying, "YOU'RE NOT GETTING ANYTHING. NOTHING!" And there you go. Also, would like to mention there is a weird smell upon entering the establishment. Can't put our finger on it, but weird. Anyone with asthma or allergies may want to think twice. Just my opinion. I'm going to try and post a picture of the...
Read moreMy husband, and I, have eaten here twice in three weeks. Both times were a little after 6pm and BOTH times the rolls were not readily available upon being seated. BOTH times, the highest price menu item--- Prime Rib, was sold out. It is the most desirable and most expensive item. My husband spoke to the manager, Susy, who gave excuses in a defensive and indifferent manner. She walked away with not even so much as an apology. Nor the professionalism or common courtesy to even come back to inquire as to our satisfaction. Our server was very accommodating, apologetic, professional, and gracious. A good manager would ensure/guarantee the supply met the consumers' demand. Aside from that, our meal was satisfactory. The chili I would not recommend because the prime rib in it was very dry and broke into pieces in my mouth, as well as tasted very much like tomato.
We were seated at table #14, in full view of the register. Waitresses did engage the manager. Two of them avoided her and gave side-eyed glances when walking away. lt is apparent, after conversing with her first-hand, that she not only treats customers with little respect, but does not have the respect of the staff members.
When I left, I used the restroom to wash the grease off my hands. There was no Purell, the pump on the pink liquid soap dispenser was broken, so I was left having to use the sanitizer. I brought to the hostess' attention, which was met with an...
Read moreWent here for our anniversary dinner. I ordered the Buffalo Bill's Ribeye, fiance ordered the Prime Rib. First impression, it was busy and loud and we felt somewhat intimidated because we aren't... "Locals/regulars" (can't find the words but that's the best way I can put it.) We felt more comfortable after we got seated though. We only waited about 10 mins for a seat, we got seated in the bar area, which was alot quieter and we enjoyed that aspect. I ordered the soup for an appetizer. It was chicken tortilla soup which felt odd but it was still good, just wasn't what I was expecting at a Steakhouse. The Ribeye was cooked they way I wanted and the first half was thoroughly enjoyable, a little tough, and it seemed to lack seasoning, luckily there was salt and pepper at our table which helped me enjoy the second half. My fiance seemed to enjoy her Prime Rib. She asked for medium rare but it seemed to be more on the rare side, which was totally okay, no complaints. Overall it was alright. It did however run us a little over $90 for two people which was quite steep. Me being a home chef, I also have biased opinions, but that's not fair so I'll keep quiet. 3 1/2 stars is what I wanted to go with but I can't do it like that so 4 feels right. Far from horrible but not quite deserving of the...
