AVOID THIS PLACE! Where to begin… check-in isn’t until 4pm, so don’t go before that, or you will have to wait in the parking lot where you don’t want to be at any time of the day. There won’t be anyone at the front desk anyway. This is not a hotel, this is definitely an “Inn”, don’t get that mixed up. When you walk into the lobby, don’t expect a greeting or anything. I booked online at the last minute as my job sometimes requires. I am very happy that I only had to stay one night. There is a sign on the front desk that says it is your responsibility to report anything wrong with the room or request a room change or you are SOL. Once the desk was staffed, I received my key and went to my room. The moment I stepped through the door I was hit with a very strange and strong scent. Moments later, as I was heading to ask for another room, the staff member came to me and apologized for the room, he didn’t know the bathroom was under “renovations” and offered to move me to another room. That was the one situation I gave two stars. The second room was much better, the rooms are very dark, there are no ceiling lights, only dim lamps. All of the inner ground floor rooms have a second door with pool access. Unfortunately, all the doors and walls are paper thin. You will learn everything you don’t want to know about the people next door, you will also have the pleasure of hearing pool users screaming and screeching until after 10pm. Then, once that finally stops, you can hear all of the walking, stomping, and running going on out in the hall, and above your room. The connected bar closed an hour early (10pm). I passed multiple people who were just standing in the hall with vomit on their shirt. I had to sleep in my car until I could check out of my room at 6am and relocate to a place with less murder vibes. The gentleman in front of me had a similar experience, but he was scolded for not having a deposit. No amount was disclosed and then he was rushed out the door after. Then when I approached the desk I handed him my key and he just waved me off and said I was good. After reading other reviews I am very glad I asked for...
Read morePulled up to check in the guy didn’t seem helpful or tell us where our room was just that we had to use the other door. Signs everywhere say no smoking everything smells like an ashtray. My person staying with me ran to move the car so it wasn’t left unattended. They must have been watching and called the room twice while I was going to the bathroom like I can’t even go to the bathroom do not call me at 1am. I know we checked in late but we were driving from out of town and just got back I shouldn’t have to explain that it shouldn’t matter. Like I have worked in hotels before and for housekeeping never ever have I had anyone call. Took pics of all the things in the room that had burn holes and marks just so they don’t charge us for them because they were in the room when we walked in. Smells giving us a headache and can’t even open the windows much to air out the room. Tv turns on but doesn’t do anything else(just black screen). Front desk guy seem to be judging people based off what they look like happened to us right when we checked in got to the room and then had to make sure they weren’t going to tow our car cause they came and towed cars at 4am and never asked for car info. Then when we saw we went to make sure they had our car info and asked what was wrong with us. Very rude and staying here for two days don’t feel comfortable around people that are disrespectful just based off how people look. Very rude. Not professional at all. Would be great for refund to go somewhere more respectful. And not so dirty and smelly. Very very very disappointed. Toilet flooded after using it twice and shit water everywhere. Not sure how this place stays open with all the bad reviews and everyone leaving once they see for themselves or getting a refund. Make sure to cover your self and take pictures and get a receipt. You’d think all these people complaint about the same thing they would do or chnage...
Read moreThe bathroom highkey grossed me out, but the bed was okay. My favorite part was the pool and hot tub, the pool wasnt super cold and the hot tub jets were hella comfy. My main problem with this place is the staff. When me and my partner got there (I had called earlier and made a reservation), the guy at the front desk, who's name was VJ, told us that because the person we made the reservation with spelled my partners name wrong, we didn't have a room, and then made no attempt at trying to help us figure it out (we ended up having to match addresses and cards to confirm identity). After we got into our room and settled, it was 9PM and the pool sign said the pool didn't close until 10PM, so we headed down there, but then the lovely VJ told us that it was closed, and we couldn't go in until the morning. Later on, we had some friends over for a bit to visit and eat some cake we had, and at 1AM, after I went outside to smoke a cigarette and was walking back towards my room, VJ decided to stop me and told me that I needed to ask my guests to leave because, unbeknownst to me as I was never informed, I wasn't allowed to have guests after 8PM (never heard of a rule like that in my life). Then, the next morning, I went down to the pool around 9:50AM, and the lady desk attendant that had taken over for VJ came over before I went in and asked me if I knew that my checkout was at 11 (I was told this when we made the reservation AND when we checked in), which felt condescending. To top it off, when we DID get downstairs at exactly 11AM, there was no one at the desk, and already 4 other people waiting to check out and get their deposits back, so we ended up waiting for 10 or 15 mins for the attendant to come out and then (very slowly) check everyone out. Oh and the...
