Yeah, honestly not understanding all the four and five star reviews. First of all the $12 Caesar salad was a bowl full of lettuce with a few croutons and about a quarter teaspoon of powder parmesan thrown on top. If you're going to charge $12 for a bowl of lettuce can you at least put some shredded Parmesan on top? We ordered the crispy chicken pizza which a third of the pieces had no chicken on and considering they brag about their crispy charred crust the crust was extremely soggy. We had to sit at a low top table because we had a wheelchair and all of the tables were dirty and we had to wait for someone to wipe one off, it's normally isn't a big deal but we sat there for about 15 minutes and I had to ask someone to do it because no one ever came over to the table. When I went to the bar to inquire about ordering drinks I stood there for almost 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged my existence, and they were not all that busy. Overall not at all impressed with either Zaza pizza...
Read moreordered while at Lake Monster. waited 45 minutes with no notice before trying to call to see if the order was ready. talked to AI before being "transferred to a person" (it went straight to voicemail). After that, I decided to just walk over and see what was taking so long. When I walked in, I was told, "It's been ready - we text you when it's ready." I showed him that I had received no text message beyond the initial order confirmation and let him know that calling the number went straight to voicemail. He did offer to remake the pizza, but at this point, we had been waiting almost an hour and were VERY hungry. A refund or coupon for next time would have been a better offer than having to wait even longer for the food we had paid for. In the end, we wound up paying over $50 for rock-hard pizza that was cold. overall, I would not recommend this pizza. They need to get their ordering system...
Read moreI have to echo what seems to be a common experience with this Zaza location- when you place your order, it doesn't tell you when it will be ready. Nor does it tell you that you have to go pick it up from the counter. We sat in King Coil, so all of the tables have QR codes with table numbers assigned and we thought that someone would be delivering the food (otherwise, what is the point of the table numbers?) but that was not the case. We ended up with a cold, soggy pizza. The pizza tasted like it could have been good? But it's hard to tell really. It's a shame because I enjoy King Coil and Lake Monster. But if going to need drinks AND food, I am just going to go down the street to Dual Citizen or Urban Growler. Or just order the Zaza pizza and go stand by the counter until it is...
