We have been staying at the beautiful Island's End since 2007. We are always greeted like family by the warm and caring staff (including our host dog, Jake) and enjoy the serene, beachy vibes. The unit we stay in is perfect for our immediate and extended family and it includes a private pool and a killer view of Shell Island and the Gulf. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning from the property and it's just a short walk to the beach, although you can walk right out into the water from the property or hang out on the recently rebuilt deck. It's also a short walk to Historic 8th Avenue where you can dine or shop.
Having the convenience of a full kitchen, two baths and three bedrooms makes this a perfect place to stay for our beach vacation. The unit (as well as all others at the resort) is updated frequently and is clean and stocked with linens, towels, as well as plenty of extras for our stay. Pots, pans, glasses, dishes, etc. are all part of the unit. There is also a guest washer/dryer available on site. The staff here is always helpful and makes sure that we are well taken care of.
In regards to a recent post about availability, the resort lets us rebook for the following year with a non-refundable deposit, if we desire. Giving a one star review because of limited availability is spiteful and childish. Don't take it out on this gem of a resort! If you have the opportunity to book here, do it. If not, there are other places to stay in...
