Rude. Pretended to not understand my questions about "gluten free" labeled crepes. There is cross contamination and so the crepes ARE NOT gluten free. Update: To the owner who made the excuse that this was "the American way" to make crepes (and now says the health dept says it is ok to make them on the same griddle..., seriously, another excuse), It is not safe for people who have a medical reason for not eating gluten, for me, Celiac disease. I was soooooo happy to find this Cafe before we took a ferry to Shell Island. The owners are French and absolutely understand quality delicious healthy food! They told us they use organic breads and foods. This is very important to me. I ordered a classic crepe with honey and it was wonderful! My friend, who's vegan ordered a sandwich and the owners did a really good job accommodating her needs. I forgot what my husband ordered but we all loved what we had. This place is amazing! The owners are so kind and helpful. I had the La Bretonne which was a ham and swiss crepe and it was the most delicious breakfast ever!! The crepes are freshly made with natural ingredients and ginormous. The owners brought the crepes and coffees to us and paid attention to detail as to ask me if my coffee had enough flavoring and happily added more flavoring for me. I visited the beach today and decided to walk into town to find something to eat. I stumbled upon a hidden gem! I had a chicken pesto panini that was amazing! The mozzarella
. Sooo good! My girlfriend had the crepe and she said it was delicious as well. Good presentation was excellent! We met and chatted with the owners, and they were very nice and welcoming to their shop. This will now be added to the list of stops when we hit St. Pete’s beach!
