My wife and I booked this venue for our wedding this month. The contract was signed last year in December. Leading up to the wedding, the guy the contract was signed with apparently got fired. I guess with him being fired, everything else left as well. We were told that my wife would have the separate bungalow for the day before AND the day of the wedding and that the night of the wedding we would move over to the “honeymoon suite” which was in a 4-suite building separate from the inn and a day after that to make sure the bungalow is clean. Leading up to the wedding, we were introduced to Amie, the new manager. Amie was very unreliable. She continued to throw people under the bus for promises she made. The worst part about it is they booked a family reunion for the same weekend and they double-booked the bungalow and the “honeymoon suite” which meant that they had to scramble to accommodate us. Mind you, the schedule was clear when the deposit was paid. The “accommodation” for my wife and her bridesmaids was a room in the bungalow that had NO BEDS while the actual rooms with beds were occupied by the family reunion. To “make up” for it they also gave us the “Rose Room” in the inn for as the “groom/honeymoon suite”, a stocked minibar, and refreshments from the groom party in the main inn before the wedding. We were also told that we’d have a comp’d day for all the inconveniences but apparently that wasn’t done either. They tried unlocking and opening the door while my wife was undressed. Amie went on “vacation” for a week that turned into three weeks which happened to overlap with the day we were to meet to finalize the game plan a month out. The day of the wedding, they not only had the family reunion going on, but other people came out to “scope” the venue. The list of ways the ball was dropped could go on and on, but I’m going to stop here because I want people to actually read this review. We had a beautiful day DESPITE the broken promises and mess-ups thanks to our family stepping up to make...
