If this property is in the process of being sold or offloaded, here's a simple strategy: take stock of which units are in questionable condition and stop renting those ones out. Letting guests deal with severe plumbing, odor and maintenance issues just to keep occupancy high is short-sighted and reflects poorly on the Sonesta brand. I stayed here recently and I'm honestly shocked at how far this property has declined. What used to be a well-maintained extended stay (back when it was a Staybridge) now feels like a skeleton operation being kept barely functional to generate revenue. If you're going to keep a place open, the bare minimum is to make it habitable. Let's start with cleanliness: The walls and doors were visibly stained, the window sills were filthy and I ended up hand-washing all the glassware with soap and water before using anything. The air conditioner claimed it was 72°F. It absolutely wasn't. The room was stuffy, hot and uncomfortably humid. And the odor? Likely caused by a dry or improperly maintained P-trap. It came up through the dishwasher and lingered. If you're not going to maintain plumbing systems, why even bother offering dishwashers? Speaking of which, dirty dishwashers that haven't been cleaned or flushed properly just become odor vessels. Don't install features you're not prepared to maintain. And then, after all this, I had to move to another room mid-stay because of how bad the issues were. Not only was the new room only marginally better, but l had to move all my belongings myself. No staff assistance. No apology. just a key and a new door number. If this property is being kept running with minimal staff and minimal reinvestment, you still owe it to your guests to make it clean and functional. That's not luxury. That's baseline. I don't expect perfection from an extended stay. I do expect the space to be safe, clean, and properly maintained. This was not that. The only nice thing I'll say is that when

The rooms were fine. The little kitchen area does the job and the furniture is mostly up to date. There's a nice amount of plugs across the room so that's nice for when you're working at the desk, couch, or in bed. They only clean rooms once per week, and to be honest I'd prefer if it was just a little more frequent (twice a week is fine). Unfortunately, the it's impossible to get any work done without using your phone as a hot spot; their internet is abysmally slow. Given the suites are clearly intended for some longer-term usage (I'm here for two weeks), and the fact that it's 2024, this is completely unacceptable. If you're looking to get any work done online you'll need to find another way to do it.

Love the space in the rooms, you have a kitchen, dinning room or breakfast nook, livingroom and a good size bedroom. Prices were avg OC can be $$$. My only complaint they have long term residents and they can be noisy and come and go and the doors on the rooms close and open fairly loudly. but overall would stay here again. GREAT breakfast and amenities as well.

After checking in and getting unpacked, they first did not have any pillows or sheets for the bed. The attendant said they had sheets and a blanket but no pillows, that maybe I could ask in the morning. The mattress is really old and stained. Carpet is torn. There was hair in the bathtub, McDonalds left over food in the trashcan in the kitchen. Two space heaters were placed in the room. We went out to eat ,came back and began to get ready for bed to find the ac wasn’t working. They never told us, they waited for us to find out. To me that was the part that really got under my skin. Went downstairs to bug the guy on his phone , the maintenance man was there and said the rooms ac heat unit was down. They offered another room which I checked out reluctantly as my 78 year old mom was already in bed. I didn’t feel comfortable waking her up and packing everything up and moving but I checked out the room offered. The other room stinks really bad, like wet dog or something . The door was ajar like they had purposely left it open to air it out. I didn’t bother to check out the last room they offered. We opened the windows and that helped but there was a lot of noise from the restaurant next door. Didn’t sleep well at all. They must’ve fired the attendant up front as I didn’t see him there after a couple of days. But I found my truck had been keyed. Deep scratches. They didn’t have any cameras in the lot so no telling whom did that, but I’m sure it was the fired attendant. The only thing I can say that is good about this place so far is its location. It’s a very convenient location. They gave me a discount, that was nice. I spent $40 on a kit to fix the scratches. It Sort of worked. I can still see one when up close. By the way they also charge $10 a day for parking, they don’t tell you this upfront. FYI pancake machine for breakfast is broken , they offered runny eggs, sausages of some kind, tater tots, muffins, breads, oatmeal, rice, seaweed wraps , cereal, coffee, juice and tea. The breakfast is ok , but we decided to eat out instead. I get the feeling that they don’t fix much here, or ever update, and I think they have a real hard time removing odors from...

I gave it 2 stars because she tried to correct it at the end. However for me first impressions are everything but, when you get a second chance and fumble it’s a no for me. I didn’t like that the front desk staff lied to me. My god mother came to visit and stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, myself and my spouse stayed there as well. When she was leaving we requested to extend our stay for 2 more days because we enjoyed the room more then we thought we would. The front desk lady I believe it was Maria told us it was booked out. I found that hard to believe because I was there for 2 days already and it seemed to be rooms available. So we called back just to make sure she wasn’t saying the type of room was booked out and she said no there are no rooms available. So I get online cause I found that to be odd and booked the same type of room. Not only was it 5 available according to online but, I got put in the same room they wouldn’t let me stay in earlier that day when I requested to extend our stay. We had to move all of our food, clothes and stuff out only to be put back in the room later. All this and my wife just had a baby it was very disappointing to be lied to like that. To make it worse I woke up and requested a late check out and Maria told me it was booked out and they couldn’t do a late checkout I confirmed one more time that they couldn’t and asked to speak to the manager when they came in. Went back to my room and waited. Got a call back later and I was offered a noon check which I appreciated it. By then the damage was done, I had already got online again and saw it was a couple room available. I’m not sure what the deal is with the lying about availability but it completely ruined my experience for me. I’d definitely be skeptical about staying at this location. Lying about availability is extremely annoying and unprofessional. Had it not been for the lying my experience would have been much better. But after she lied twice I...
