Want to pick up your mobile order with unfriendly employees that just point to the bags of pick up orders for you to search through? Come to this SMF! Want to find out that your order that you spent well over $50 on was picked up by someone else with the same name because it was too hard for the employees to check before handing the food to their customers? Seriously, come to SMF! Want to have to sit and wait for your new order for several minutes and not be handed your order with any apology or accountability for mistakes or inconveniences? This is DEFINITELY the restaurant for you! The food was amazing, we were treated like sh*t, and we are never ever going to this location again!

Didn't get the employee names but basically, the older female employee was standing at the register with no customers. We walked in, said we can to pick up our order. She pointed at the pile of bags only a couple feet away from her but kept standing there waiting for us to find out food and leave. Our order wasn't there. Another employee, might have been the manager, had the order remade for us. We waited a long time and when we got our food, they just kinda tossed it on the counter for us to pick up and didn't look at us or thank us for coming or apologize to us for the inconvenience or mistake. We ordered online so we wouldn't have to sit there waiting for our food and to be able to go about our business. And that's exactly what ended up happening. Anyway, we ain't ever coming back. My daughter's business is nearby and she has catered food from this restaurant. I have tested the leftovers and handed to get how delicious everything is.

Today I was in the vicinity and decided to stop in for an early dinner. I selected the chili Verde burrito, and requested that the beans that would otherwise be on the inside of the burrito be served in a cup in the outside, instead.

Oh, my goodness! EVERYTHING I have tasted is fabulous.

The beans are cooked and seasoned to perfection. They gave me chips on the side, which were relished with a couple of their salsas from the bar. My favorite today is the chunky zesty salsa fresca. Having grown up with Pace Picante Sauce ( my uncle Dave Pace's company), I know salsa. This is among the best I have ever tasted. 😂

The chili Verde lived up to its reputation when the cashier forewarned me it's spicy! Love it! The chunks of tender pork were succulent and rich in flavor.

The staff are pleasant and helpful, and we shared a little smile. The restaurant is clean and organized. Superb!

I always enjoyed coming here however this last time the carne asada fries where just not that great, the meat seemed to be cooked a long time ago, it was cold and hard, and the fries smelled and tasted more like chips instead of fries, I think you need to change your oil. I used to work in a kitchen so I tend to have high expectations especially when you pay $12 for an order and the food isn’t that good :( the full order of fries wasn’t even full it was only 3/4 full. I’ve come here in the past and it was good so maybe just a bad day? The place was slow there was no reason my order wasn’t made fresh, and again the guacamole has no flavor it’s just mashed avocado where is the salt?? I might try again and update the review and I might not because I’m beginning to think it’s this area Carmel mountain is full of white people who like bland ass food so it’s probably good to them drive down south it will be worth it!
