So we haven’t had Thai food since we left Okinawa , Japan, and also visited Thailand. Once you’ve been there, you’re kind of skeptical about eating anywhere else. In fact, I still haven’t even eaten sushi in California yet. So we took a chance on this place mainly because we had to drop my son off somewhere close and we had an hour to kill and we were hungry so we stopped in. We looked at some of the reviews and decided to follow suit, I ordered the drunken noodles and my wife got the curry with chicken she also had a cup of soup For starters, I ordered the fried vegetable eggrolls. Let me tell you they were delicious and if that was setting, the tone for the evening we were in for a culinary delight. First, let me get some things out of the way the place is small, even though they have outdoor seating so expect to wait maybe at least 10 to 15 minutes for a table when they are crowded. They’re in a strip mall. Parking is sometimes tight especially during the busy time. They do a pretty good takeout business from what I observed but best to be patient when looking for parking and also looking for a seat especially if you’re bringing a party of more we were only two people eating that night so we seated rather quickly. Our waiters name was Gabriel and he couldn’t have been more helpful. We loved everything on the menu and he helped us select some of his for us to try which were right on point as I mentioned earlier. Drunken noodles are awesome. Fried vegetable sprite eggrolls were amazing and my wife soup and main dish or fantastic. Everything came out warm and delicious. I recommend trying this place. It’s pretty cool and very reasonable on the budget. You’re probably wondering when I go back again? Well, we did the next night only because my son loves Thai food and we wanted to see if he enjoyed this restaurant which he did. We did order one additional menu item this go around, which was for dessert the mango sticky rice. It was so delicious right on point just as we remember it when we had it in Chang Mai. So it looks like we found a pretty good place. I attached some pictures didn’t do any video this time. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Good luck.

So I ordered her for lunch since it’s local to me and I am rather disappointed. (Not disappointed in this BUT they do not serve beef FYI). I ordered the drunken noodles and the pad Thai. They asked me what level spice I wanted on the noodles it was a range of 1 to 10 and I chose a five which I am assuming it would be medium level spice. My drunken noodle was way too spicy to the point where I can’t continue to eat it and I was not even able to taste the flavoring of the drunken noodles. There were chilies everywhere. My shrimp pad Thai was very bland. There was barely any flavoring on the noodles and my shrimp had no flavoring on it. It was as if they just boil the shrimp and added to the noodles. I paid about $34 for my two meals and a Thai tea and I feel like it was not worth it. Now I am still hungry and sad. The food looks amazing but I was not impressed but it.

Our wedding reception experience at Urban Thai was an absolute dream come true, a magical evening filled with love, laughter, and the most incredible Thai cuisine imaginable.

From the moment we began planning our reception (3 weeks, YES, you heard that right), the owner at Urban Thai made it happen. He went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of with the utmost care and attention. From customizing the menu to accommodating our guests' dietary preferences, their dedication to excellence was evident every step of the way.

From the moment we enter Urban Thai, you are enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. The decor's intricate Thai artwork sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The menu at Urban Thai is a testament to the diversity and complexity of Thai cuisine, featuring an extensive selection of dishes that showcase the bold flavors and fresh ingredients characteristic of the region. Each dish is a masterpiece in its own right, expertly prepared and bursting with authentic Thai flavors.

For starters, we delighted in the crispy Coconut Shrimp served with a dipping sauce that left us craving more. And of course, our favorite E-Sarn Style Sausage, served with warm sticky rice.

The pad thai, a classic stir-fried noodle dish featuring tender crispy chicken, and bean sprouts tossed was a standout.

No visit to Urban Thai would be complete without indulging in one of their signature curries. We opted for the Panang curry with chicken with added broccoli, and it did not disappoint. The creamy coconut milk base was infused with aromatic herbs and spices, creating a luscious sauce that enveloped the tender chicken and crisp vegetables, a symphony of flavors that left us longing for seconds.

To round off our adventure, we savored the mango sticky rice, a quintessential Thai dessert that perfectly balances the sweetness of ripe mangoes with the creamy richness of coconut-infused sticky rice a fitting end to a truly remarkable meal.

As the evening progressed, we were treated to a spectacular display of Thai hospitality, with the staff attending to our every need with grace and professionalism. From ensuring that our glasses were always full to seamlessly coordinating the timing of each course, they worked tirelessly to ensure that our reception was nothing short of perfection.

In conclusion, our wedding reception at Urban Thai was an experience we will cherish for a lifetime. From the exquisite cuisine to the impeccable service, every aspect of our special day was executed flawlessly, thanks to the dedication and commitment of the team at Urban Thai. If you're looking for a venue, a seasoned Thai food enthusiast, or even a curious newcomer, a visit to Urban Thai is an...

I visited Urban Thai Kitchen with my family and kids for dinner and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant is cozy and modern, with a friendly and attentive staff. We ordered fresh spring rolls, singa beer, thai ice tea, papaya salad, tom kah soup, and crab fried rice. Everything was delicious and well-presented.

The fresh spring rolls were light and refreshing, with a crunchy texture and a peanut sauce that added some sweetness. The singa beer was cold and crisp, a perfect accompaniment to the spicy dishes. The thai ice tea was creamy and aromatic, with a hint of vanilla. The papaya salad was tangy and crunchy, with a balance of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors. The tom kah soup was creamy and fragrant, with coconut milk, lemongrass, and mushrooms. The crab fried rice was flavorful and generous, with chunks of crab meat and eggs.

We enjoyed every bite of our meal and felt satisfied and happy. The portions were reasonable and the prices were fair. The service was fast and courteous, and the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. We will definitely come back to Urban Thai Kitchen and recommend it to anyone who loves...
