What a terrible experience at Krispy Kreme in Carmel Mountain this morning with cashier SAQIP. I made an order at the drive thru window. I had to ask her if I could use my account. Which started the bad vibes. Because she had to put in my phone number to use my account. After giving me my food with no smile on her face no kindness. She didn’t give me a receipt. So she glared back at me and I had to tell her that I need a receipt because I am using my corporate card. She became very hostile and let me know that her printer was down. And it was going to take her 30 seconds to get it up. So I offered to drive out front because I did have to wait for this receipt. This then made her more angry, but she told me to move forward and she would bring the receipt out. After waiting five minutes or more in the parking lot for a receipt that was supposed to take 30 seconds. I called into the store. And was told by whoever answered the phone which I think her name was Isabel. Not sure, that they were extremely busy and she didn’t know when someone could bring out the receipt. I expressed I understood but also told her I also was on my way to work and this was causing me to be late. Finally, SAQIB came to my window with the receipt. She did not hesitate to let me know with her attitude and her facial expression how angry she was that she had to come out and bring me the receipt. This is just not what I’m used too for Krispy Kreme. They’ve always been very kind. So I don’t know what happened since they reopened the store. But the store manager really needs to get involved. There is another donut place in the same parking lot with this Krispy Kreme. And I can tell you that they offer amazing customer service and that is where I will be going. Because I do not like starting my mornings off like this With such a hostile environment. Great product but terrible...
Read moreIt was a surprise to find this store so close to my home. I always drove to clairmont for my donuts. Most of the places that I like to shop, are near this location. It doesn't really matter where you buy your Krispy Kremes, they are the greatest donuts ever made, but that seems to be the way to judge the individual stores, by the location. I was on my way to Olive Garden to have a night of good food and conversation about the old days with my mother, when I saw the new Krispy Kreme store in the same parking lot. The Olive Garden was extremely crowed that night, as was the line at the Kreme store. I asked mom if she felt like waiting in two lines that night, and if not, pick one. Mom chose Krispy Kreme. We ate a dozen donuts for dinner, six maple and six chocklet. It would probably be incorrect to assume that we ate a healthy and balanced meal for dinner that night, but it was flour, milk, sugar, eggs, and water. And that seems to be healthy to me. Anyway, Mom is ninety one, and I'm sixty seven, so we pretty much eat what makes us happy, not what will make us older. Life is good, and with Kristy Kreme, life...
Read moreThe whole reason I went was to try a pumpkin drink and then you get a free doughnut. She couldn't find the pumpkin drink syrup (though to me, she didn't look too hard or even ask anyone). I asked for either almond or oat milk. She used oat milk and saw chunks and clearly was concerned, showed another girl there but chose to ask if I wanted whip. I said I'd prefer it not to be chunky. She said yeah, I was wondering why it was chunky. Then poured it out and was going to use the same cup which I wouldn't mind, but she wasn't rinsing it out. She thought about it for a minute and said "I should just throw this away" and splattered the wall as it went into the bin. I told her instead of redoing the oat again, let's go for almond milk. She made a very "meh" iced coffee. Mind you, this is the first time ever having a drink at Krispy Kreme. I had a few sips and decided it wasn't worth the calories and saved it for my daughter who then took a sip and said the exact same thing. Lesson learned, I will never buy a drink there again. The...
