I am in the process of adopting two kids so my mattress shopping was quite meaningful. We drove by Mancini and I told my teen girl, “we are only looking ok? We are not buying anything right now.” This was her first time mattress shopping. My 16 year old soon-to-be daughter had a great time searching for her mattress. I know this may sound strange to some but mattress shopping was a great experience for me and my daughter.
Michael helped us as soon as we walked in. My daughter and are pretty goofy together so she would plop herself, lay on each bed and make comments about how she feels. I started to do this too. We made our mattress shopping quite fun. Michael was so laid back and it felt like he just let us be goofy in search for my girl’s first brand new comfortable mattress. I am very firm on customer service and Michael is chill, cool, relaxed and attentive. He actually asked me to bring my husband so he can feel the mattresses too. This shows that he was not at all pushy and allowed us to all feel the true comfort of the bed. I did not want to wait so I ended up getting one mattress set for my soon to be daughter and one mattress for me and my husband. If it wasn’t for Michael going above and beyond, I would have easily just stuck to what I said and “just looked”.
We did have to eventually get a mattress but because Michael took his time with us, engaged with us and let us be, I naturally was excited and ready to purchase our new comfortable mattresses. I am so excited to have it delivered tomorrow and be cozy in my bed during Winter Nights.

Read morePlease never buy a mattress from this store. I bought a high end Beautyrest Queen size mattress 2 month ago and the mattress starts collapsing on one side. I called the store to help, they basically ignore my request for 2 weeks without taking any action, then i called again, they said they can send person for inspection. by the end they told me the inspection results are in spec.... i purchased 5 mattress from Mancinis and all same brands mattress, never had this issue so i am sure its a defective mattress this time but they do not admit.
the guy in the store called Richard just loudly yell at me saying he will not do anything besides asking me to spend more money to change to a higher end mattress with paying more money. the store manager Eric ignored my request at beginning and reject to talk to me again since they said they cannot do anything about it. only thing i am asking for is to change to a new one, same brand, same mattress, but i got store sales person yelled and ignored.
please do not buy mattress from them, extremely bad customer service.
followup --------- District manager Brad called me and sincerely apologize and promise to change a new mattress for me. I am waiting this to happen on Wed 7/5, if this is resolved, i will say it is still recommended to buy from Mancini but do not work with Saratoga store, go to Las Gatos one. Read moreI went in here a little over a month ago and I am purposefully writing this review at this time. I wanted to have at least 1 month of sleeping on my new mattress before I wrote a review because Richard said this would be the most impactful to my sleep as I should get accustomed to my new bed before I judged it. Since Mancini's has a 90 day guarantee I felt no worries testing this bed out.
I was welcomed promptly by Richard who showed me around and let me know the details of the beds, ranges in pricing, and styles and benefits of each. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in the process. After spending much longer than I intended(at least 5 minutes spent in different positions on every mattress I tried), I ended up purchasing a Nectar bed to replace my Tempur-Pedic as he said it would feel similar to the one I had at a much more friendly price point.
It took a couple of weeks before the mattress felt like it was truly the place where I go to sleep but I ended up really enjoying the sleep I've been getting. It came with a 10 year guarantee so even if it ends up failing me down the road I feel comfortable knowing I can always have it replaced.
Edit: I also forgot to mention the delivery team was super respectful of my house and very helpful. I don't want to leave their excellent customer service out. Unfortunately I do not have the two names of the gentlemen but they also deserve some...
