Added 6/25/2024: Ordered on line at 6:48 to be ready at 7:45. When we got there, it took until 7:55 before my order was ready.
In addition, I ordered a Turkey-Avocado sandwich exactly as it was on the menu. I got home and there was no Avocado.
There has long seemed to be absolutely no quality control at this restaurant.
When done right, the food is very good. Unfortunately, there is often some major thing missing or not done right.

We have been going to this Boudin location for three or four years now, living just over a mile up Prospect. Eating there at least once a week. Been a member of their rewards club forever. Always been very happy until the past few months. Lately, quality seems to have gone by the wayside.
My GF and I usually order a pick-a-pair for each of us. For example, tonight my GF ordered a 1/2 Spring salad and a 1/2 turkey cranberry sandwich for one combo, and I ordered a 1/2 Chinese chicken salad and 1/2 tuna salad sandwich on the other.
We got home and the Chinese chicken salad box was not sealed, but spilled inside the bag. There were no utensils nor napkins in the bag.
For the tuna salad sandwich, I had ordered lettuce and tomato (see photo). Neither made it on the sandwich. The sandwich was somewhat crushed and not the most appetizing presentation.
In the recent past, we've had several orders actually missing items.
When the sandwiches have mayo on them like a BLTA, the mayo is squirted from a bottle and snakes around on the bread resulting in bites with no mayo and others with more than necessary. It would be more pleasing if an additional 2 seconds were spent to spread the mayo. In addition, the bacon is heaped in the center, stuck together in one pile. Would be nicer if were spread such that there is bacon in each bite.
Often with the half sandwiches, the two half slices are not lined up and sometimes do not come anywhere near matching in size.
It is said that we eat food twice; first with the eyes and then the taste. Appetizing looking food is important.
I don't know if good help has been difficult to find and hire or if maybe management training has somewhat lapsed.
In the future, we are going to try the Boudin's on Stevens Creek in the hope that maybe they have not likewise slipped in quality.

Read moreStory - Last month in October i came here for lunch and ordered food sat down and waited. This lady started getting loud and upset about her food taking too long( it was lunch time). They explained their are a lot of orders sorry for the wait... (the workers looked overwhelmed but were getting things done) A rush of orders came in you could see it on the screen... the lady got mad and eventually left. Then another lady literally a minute later with a even bigger attitude was complaining about her food taking too long and when they explained again a lot of orders came in we are sorry she said rudely thats not my problem with her big self attitude... ( both karens they looked alike) This lady was so impatient and it had only been maybe 1-2 minutes since she walked in. The workers and I believe manger were saying they were sorry a rush of orders came in again and they were being very polite and calm and this lady was so rude to them and i kept just looking at her because i was getting annoyed with hearing two Karens getting loud like it’s their house. I got sick of hearing complaining, so i told my husband clearly they are busy let’s cancel and come back another day no biggie.. so my husband went up to the cashier and said we see ur busy we will come back so just cancel our order. My husband was standing waiting for his money back and the Karen decided to stand right in back of him( i don’t even know why because she was on the other side waiting for the food but decided to move and couldn’t even give him personal space and i was about to walk her to her and tell her to move away from him but she moved as he turned around. ) they apologized gave our money back and my husband said don’t worry everyone is being rude to you and you guys are working hard so he TIPPED$ Her $11 FOR HANDLING THE SITUATION WELL WITH THE RUDE PEOPLE.

Read moreI had placed a pickup order through doordash to this restaurant which I never had problems with until today, upon arrival there was multiple customers waiting for pickup orders as well as in line to order with just one person running the orders. The lady that was preparing the orders made me question how people get jobs with zero to no customer service experience. Noticing the heap load of people waiting in the restaurant there wasn’t much hurry to attend these customers. After finally being noticed she asked if I needed help, I let the person know I was expecting an order to which she checks and walks away to work on another order. A minute later an order gets put down and after waiting for a while I decide to check the names of the orders that are right there and there it was. As though I would’ve just let it slide when I got home my order was completely wrong. I called the store asking for options on what to do about my order to which they say they cant do anything about it and to contact doordash.
