Terrible experience all together. The price they advertise on Google differed by about $28 from what I paid. Had I not been so tired from a late flight in I would not have stayed here after seeing the room. I get it, it's a motel 6, but they have no business charging about $100 for the room I stayed in. They seem to do the absolute bare minimum when it comes to maintaining the rooms. The fact that I felt the need to photograph everything before hand to avoid being charged for any of this should be a tell tale sign. Not sure the room was even cleaned prior to my arrival. Entered the room and was greeted by not 1, but 2 spiderwebs in the room, along with a spider on the wall. The pillow cases and towels had visible stains left in them. I didn't even feel comfortable sleeping IN the bed I slept ON the bed, fully clothed. The vents had dust all over and around them, didn't even want to turn on the heater. The bathroom door had who knows what on it, some type of brown residue, they couldn'tbe bothered to wipe the door down. They advertise a flat screen TV in the room with "expanded cable" the TV turned on, but had no signal on any source setting and the picture would randomly screen tear anyways. Do not recommend.

I've stayed at a number of Motel 6's, this was probably the worst, I don't expect fancy, but I do expect clean. Smells of cigarettes, hair all over that wasn't ours - in the shower, on the shower curtain, on the towels, on the bed, etc. The floor doesn't look like it's in good condition, and the furniture was all kinds of messed up. Got in late, tried to walk my dog, but I felt very unsafe. It looked like my room had previously been broken into, the door was damaged and bondo was used to cover damage. Sketchy people driving around, one dude slowly rolled by, staring and I felt like I just needed to get back to my room. There were people coming and going even at 2am. The dog potty area was muddy (not from rain), which i was not expecting and thus my dog got muddy. The staff seem nice, but the cleanliness is not good at all, even for a cheap motel, it was bad.

Kiomara was AWFUL and rude to me. Jasmine gave me a room with toe nails on the floor and video taped me while she was supposedly recording the room. The AC did not work at all during MAY and they charged me the max that they could. The maid said she has no towels and started pushing the cart away from me and I had to follow her and ask again. They also tried to make it look like I was staying in Livermore on the receipt which made no sense. The Santa Rosa address wasn't listed (only a Livermore address was listed.) I feel completely harassed like they are working with someone to attempt to degrade me. Multiple employees, no reprieve. Awful experience!

I would not recommend Motel 6 on Cleveland Ave on the North end I Santa Rosa. We asked for a quiet area as I was having surgery the next morning and would be there two nights. We were given a room right next to a busy and noisy highway. The comforters on the beds were so disgustingly dirty. I went to the office to pick up an ironing board and iron and told the clerk that checked us in and she "ohh really When I returned to the room I continued to check the beds and found hairs in the blankets and on the sheets. The floor looked like it had been mopped with dirty water and a dirty mop head. I went to housekeeping to get clean bedding as I knew the clerk in the front office could care less. Housekeeping manager checked it out and was disgusted, she called the front desk and told the clerk and then let me talk to her. By now second clerk had come on duty and said we could come to the office and she would put us in a new room above the office that she had personally checked for cleanliness. The rude clerk was at our door in the dirty room and asked, "do you want to stay in this room and have it cleaned." I told her I believe it should of been cleaned before we were assigned to the room and that we would move. Anyway, we moved into the new room which was clean. The beds are terribly uncomfortable, room had the bare necessities, TV, towels, a bar of soap and ice bucket. The remote control had a screw to keep batteries in so they would not be stolen. My husband had to unscrew it to see why remote would not work, batteries had been put in wrong. On a positive note, location is convenient to our appointments within 10 minutes from surgery center and doctors office. The room above the office was quiet. The hotel is dog friendly at no extra charge. You can't leave your dog unattended, fortunately the weather stayed cool so she could be left in car for short periods of time. We stayed there because the reviews were good and price was reasonable. Needless to say the reviews were inaccurate, next time I'll pay extra and stay at a best western. So think twice before you stay...

I wasn't too fond of the room, especially because it was false advertisement and the amount I paid for this room...a little over $100. It indicated modern rooms, when in fact, they only updated the flooring and sink area, everything else was old and dated( room 219). The ceiling had and attic opening that wouldn't close properly, the additional door lock was not screwed in right and obviously, safety is not their priority, but of course they response will say it is, when it isn't. You can tell they may have tried to fix it, but didn't do a good job at all. I think my 9yr old could have done better. I'll NEVER stay there again. I didn't feel safe with it being only me and my son. It had a connecting door to the next room, whomever was in that room tried a few times to open the door. Loud at night as stated in other comments. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night due to all the noise and because the additional lock was worthless!! I've stayed at other Motel 6 on numerous occasions, but this has been the worse one overall. I'm glad it was only for one night, but now I know to NEVER recommend this particular one, we are in Santa Rosa several times a year for festivities. I thought this was going to be a good place since it did say it was modern and advertised modern photos, but far from it. Other comments posted for this Motel 6 were very accurate, I just thought people were over reacting, but now I know. I normally recommend Motel 6, but in this case I wouldn't and wouldn't recommend it if you have a family or alone, unless you are OK with people hanging outside. I'm actually glad a requested a upstairs room. Oh, they also do not have an elevator in case that is important to you if you have many belongings. I'm sure the response team will apologize as in other comments, but if they really meant it, they would take care of the situations, but in stead people are reporting the same thing over and over....Too bad for the brand MOTEL 6, this particular one isn't giving you justice..... A fan of Motel 6, just not this particular...

Check In: I drove over 500 miles translating to an 8hr drive on Friday and arrived at this location at about 2:20pm. The front desk staff was adamant about not allowing me to check-in to my room until 3pm because it is a hotel policy. I needed to use the restroom due to being stuck in traffic on the 101 from about the Novato area to Santa Rosa but was denied the use of a restroom as well. After stating these facts several times I was finally allowed to check into my room. However, the hotel staff expressed signs of frustration and seemed annoyed that they had to adjust to their hotel "policy" for a customer which had reserved a 2-night stay. I understand every company has a variety of rules, standards and policies in order to stay uniform and run effectively but employees also need to be trained in approaching situations with tact and friendliness which is the front desk staff obviously lacks.

Room: I did not walk into the room with the perception I would be stepping into a 5-star hotel but did walk in with the expectation that I would be provided with basic amenities and cleanliness. The room had an odor masked with Pine-Sol or the like. The top sheets of the beds were old and worn out with a few small stains and cigarette burns. There was not enough towels, soaps, etc and I had to ask the housekeeping staff for all these supplies. The toilet seat had a gross appearance. Perhaps it was clean but it was so old and worn out that it had a dark stain all around and the top color was chipping away. The tub was even worse which was completely stained all across the base giving the impression that it was not clean or maintained in any shape. To make matters worse the AC does not work and we found out on Saturday night when we put it on full blast and woke up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat and had to take a cold shower and open the front door and leave it wide open in a desperate attempt to get some fresh air in.

Overall I would be generous to rank my stay a 1 of out 10 as this establishment does not deserve to operate under...
