Hello, overall my stay was ok but not great. It took me about 15 minutes to get checked in when I arrived just after midnight on Sunday night. The young lady, stated, after she came back into the lobby, that " she did not see me come in" which was possible because a black ford truck with a trailer was sitting at the lobby entrance. A few other guests was getting out of it. While I was backing in to my parking area. I thought "maybe" the clerk had to go and help those guys with their rooms or something? Then after the clerk came inside from outside, and began to check me in for my prepaid stay, she stated " the printer was down and she needed to make a photo of my Tn. D.L. to email the hotel email address, however when I looked at what she was actually taking a photo of it was both my Capitol one master card and my Tn. DL. , SO THAT VERY MUCH CONCERNED ME SINCE MY ROOM WAS ALREADY PAID FOR THE INSTANCE I BOOKED MY STAY. ALSO THAT CONFUSED ME ON WHY MY CREDIT CARD INFO WAS NEEDED AGAIN SINCE IT IS ON FILE WITH THE CHOICE PROGRAM THAT I AM A MEMBER OF AND I HAVE BEEN FOR MANY YEARS. , my room was great, all was well with the morning meal, the property is safe and secure and for the most part well maintained. Then in the morning at check out the same situation, I had to wait about 5 minutes to get someone to show up to check me out, the young lady was nice and helpful, she even printed a receipt without my having to ask for it which by the way is a first for the choice motels that I stay at. Normally the clerks say, the printer is " down or out of inks, etc, etc. " however. I wanted to confirm that infact the night clerk was required to do what she stated she " had to do " in order to check me in, which was " take photos of my ID and credit card, well, the day clerk CONFIRMED THAT SITUATION WAS IN FACT TRUE. SO OKAY I GET COPY MACHINES BREAK FROM TIME TO TIME, BUT IT SEEMS THAT ALL CHOICE HOTELS HAVE COPY OR PRINT MACHICE ISSUES EVERYWHERE I STAY FOR SOME REASON OR OTHER. THAT IS FINE, WHAT IS NOT FINE FOR ME IS HAVING MY CREDIT CARD PHOTOED AND THEN EMAILED ESPECIALLY WHEN MY ROOM IS ALREADY PAID FOR AND MY CREDIT CARD IS ALREADY ON FILE. SO WITH THAT NOW BEING SAID. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH CAPITOL ONE TODAY AND WILL BE GETTING ANOTHER OR NEW CREDIT CARD NUMBER. NOT SAYING ANYONE WOULD DO OR HAS DONE ANYTHING WRONG WITH MY CREDIT CARD ON FILE BUT LET WAS FACE IT, THAT SITUATION COULD BE POSSIBLE IN THE FUTURE IF THOSE FILES WERE TO FALL INTO THE WRONG HANDS. SO FOR THOSE THAT MAKE YOUR EMPLOYEES DO THAT TO YOUR CUSTOMERS, WOULD YOU WANT YOUR PRIVATE INFO FLOATING AROUND LIKE THAT IF YOU WERE IN MY POSTION, MY BET IS , NO WAY. HAVE A GREAT DAY AND THANKS FOR THE STAY. RESPECTFULLY DON...

First off, the hotel rooms are decent enough for the price, that is not what I am here to complain about. I am here to complain about the way they run their business. First off, their website description for pets was an outright lie. On one website, their pet fee description was they charged a ONE time fee of 25$ up to four pets. Once we got to the hotel they charged us over $50 for two little small dogs. We informed them they need to change their pet fee description on the website. We thought 50$ was a lot for two small dogs. Secondly; the rooms were just OK. Just a standard room with all the needed amenities. The pillows they used were poorly made and cheap and left my mother with neck, shoulder, and back problems with a lot of pain. We requested extra pillows after the first night and the woman, my father asked to get us extra pillows, got rude and told him she'll do her best. She came back with just 1 extra pillow, and you can't tell me in that hotel they don't have extra pillows laying around. Another incident I would like to point out is, random people WILL drive up to the hotel to use the pool that is only meant for paying hotel guests. While I was using the pool, two teenage girls pulled up and got into the hot tub. Moments later another woman and teenage boy drove up and then walked away after seeing people were in the pool. Staff do NOT pay attention to who is on their property. After checking out, we paid via credit card. We thought everything was paid for when a several days a later an unknown 100$ charge from the hotel was made to the card. We called the hotel immediately and they explained that it was a "soft charge" and that it would be put back. It was put back the next day, but the hotel never contacted us or informed us of this amount being taken from the card to begin with. We wished there was more communication from the staff of this hotel. A lot of the workers there were hardly around or seemed like they rather be elsewhere and all of them seemed to have a bit of attitude. Staff was not very friendly to us. I recommend anyone thinking of booking this hotel, to find a different hotel. Even if it costs a little bit more, it is better to find a nicer, friendlier place than to spend and waste your money to a place that seems like they don't care about their paying customers. With this review, we will not be back to this hotel or any other Country Inn And...

Stayed here a few months back and it was pretty bad. The room was not clean. My dog kept trying eat food that was left on the floor by the cleaners. I found remnants of a salad, including a plastic fork, and the bathroom sink had food oil in it. I tried to let the sink run to get the oil out but yellow spots kept on bubbling up. Considering I got there late and was only staying one night I decided to just let it go and feel gross for one night until my next stop, but as I was getting into bed I stepped in something hard and sticky. I looked under my foot and realized there was a spot of syrup on the floor right next to the bed. I freaked, and sent my husband down to the reception desk to ask for another room, they said they were booked out for the night and their suggestion was sending up someone with a vacuum. What is a vacuum going to do with syrup? I couldn’t believe how dumb of a suggestion that was and told him to go ask them for cleaning supplies so I could clean the room myself. They sent him back with a bottle of comet. I was surprised they thought this was fine for a guest to do, but I cleaned up the syrup at least. The next morning my husband mentioned everything that happened and a different staff member apologized about the occurrence and said they would refund the pet deposit for the inconvenience. As you can imagine we never received the deposit. We tried calling about it but were told on numerous occasions that only the manager can do it, and the manager was never in. One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. If we hadn’t gotten in so late and needed to leave so early, we would have stayed somewhere else.

okay if it’s your last option we’d previously stayed at country inns before, and i know with unusually low rates i’m getting what i pay for. still, i expect some modicum of quality from the brand itself, but that’s definitely not what we received here. i booked online a week in advance through their site — not that i don’t trust an expedia or a priceline, but still. we arrive and the front desk person reveals that we’re in luck — someone canceled and we have a room available! umm...what? i’ve had a room booked here for days. “we’re booked in all of our other rooms,” she tells me. then...why wasn’t i informed? she tried to tell me that they might not have had a number on file, and i trust my google chrome autofill capabilities better than that...sure enough, my number is on her papers. we ended up downgrading to two queen beds instead of a king like we’d preferred, but no big deal i guess? the rest of the experience was just poor too. paper thin walls, barely-functioning wifi, and, well, just take a look at the picture i’ve attached. i found that while grabbing my towel after my shower. when i did the survey after staying, the response was personalized to me and assured me i was wrong and it wasn’t feces — “(our housekeepers) will never keep dirty towels in the room.” errrr you be the judge. sorry to leave a mean review but what can you do when it’s an experience like this?
