Alabama Power Company has some unprofessional staff, I was called from a staff member to get verification permission for a person to have Electrical Service Transferred into their name, and I said No! And an Alabama Power Company employee from the Saraland Al office did it anyway without my consent, noting in writing from me, and now I am left with a billing at the address, and how can you transfer service and there’s still a balance, leaving me liable for the unpaid balance, and the person have no balances to pay. The lady that works in the appliance center Tammy is one of the most uncaring people i have ever come across. When I call I tell her I had a house fire and lost my fridge and wanted to know since I'm still paying for it is it covered on any kind of insurance. Instead of saying unfortunately it is not and im sorry for your loss she lectures me on the importance of having home owners insurance and kinda rude about it. Customer service representative wasn't nice. The only thing my mother wanted to do was ask a question and obtain a form in reference to people with disabilities. She acted like we was bothering her.
