I am writing to bring to your attention an incident that occurred at your location on April 25 around 10:58 PM. I believe it’s important to highlight both positive and concerning behavior I witnessed among your staff.
When I arrived, there were three employees on shift: two hardworking female employees who appeared to be actively working, and an older male employee who spent the entirety of my visit sitting in a chair near the counter, doing nothing.
The reason I’m writing specifically is due to the unprofessional behavior displayed by the older gentleman, who appeared to be wearing a toupee. While the two female workers were doing their best to manage customers and operations, this gentleman remained seated, talking, and was shockingly rude especially to me, a regular customer coming off a 12-hour work shift, just hoping for a hot meal.
As I pulled up to the drive-thru, I noticed there was a line, which was no problem. However, after sitting there for a while and noticing that the line wasn’t moving and employees seemed distracted, I drove around to see if I could go inside instead. I parked at the window and tried to get their attention by waving and lightly blowing my horn.
The older gentleman, who was sitting directly in front of the drive-thru window literally eye-level with me saw me and deliberately ignored me. He did not acknowledge me until he noticed I had my phone in my hand. At that point, he began making rude gestures with his hands while staring at me, as if mocking or accusing me of recording him.
Thankfully, one of the female workerswho maintained professionalism and kindness came to the window to help me, answering my question politely and respectfully. She handled the situation well, despite the extremely poor behavior of her coworker.
Unfortunately, due to the rudeness and poor attitude of the male employee, I ended up leaving without ordering anything. I lost my appetite because of how disrespected and uncomfortable I felt.
To the ownership and management: I respectfully urge you to review your store cameras and have a serious conversation with this employee about professionalism, customer service, and work ethic. It’s not enough to simply “show up” for a shift employees are expected to work and treat customers with respect. While your two female employees were working hard and demonstrating great customer service tonight, the behavior of the male employee left a very negative impression of your business.Despite this incident, I do plan to continue eating at Krystal’s. I simply wanted to make management aware of what some employees are doing and not doing while on the clock.

I had to call another location just to get the regional manager to reach out to me. The employee never repeated the order back to make sure she got it correctly. I waited 35 minutes to receive some cold, stale, nasty food. We were missing orders from our food. They never put a fork in the bag nor napkins. I had to call another location to get in contact with the district. The Employee on the phone told me I needed to bring the food back up there and bring all the food back up there during this coronavirus. That was completely unsafe for all the employees in the restaurant but they did not care because they were rude and very unprofessional and should not be working there. That whole location needs a whole set of new employees or new training because this is a constant thing with this location. Long waits. Horrible food. Wrong orders. Dismissive and rude employees It’s a constant thing for this location. So I gladly returned the food. I brought back that nasty cold horrible food And had to wait 45 minutes to return it. When I got to the window, the employee was rude. She never apologize for me having to sit there for 45 minutes to wait to return that food. She just close the window and walked off rudely. She never apologized for the order being wrong nor did she apologize for me sitting there for 45 minutes to return it. I wish I had received her name when I asked for it but she refused to give me her name. I would have included in this review. I wrote an email to corporate because I would love to know who this employee is serving my local restaurant. She treated me like one of her friends or equal because I am Black and didn’t even try to even correct the order. It is sad to say that black people do treat other black people horribly. And this is one of these situations. Horrible, nasty, & cold food with horrible nasty customer service. Wrong order. Missing food. Was told it was a 10 minute wait for fresh Krystals. Instead received cold food after waiting 15 mins. Stale fries with warm chili throw on it. Watered down lemonade slushie. Poor service & quality all the way around. 0.5 star place. Read moreExtremely disappointing the food was disgusting. This use to be my favorite restaurant to visit when I travel. The order was made incorrectly. The buns were stale. I asked for no mayo and still recieved mayo on my Krystal burgers. The chiks were so nasty, I threw them away. They put a chicken patty on the chiks instead of chicken breast. The fries were luke warm and apparently Krystal changed their fries since my last visit. They tasted like they wanted to be popeyes or checkers fries, but didn't get quite there. I ordered a large fry and recieved a medium fry. The fries use to taste wonderful, now save your money. I think this is my last time ever eating here. Also workers had an attitude problem, when they made my order incorrectly. They didn't seem to care that they messed up the order. Also, they made me pull up and wait when no cars came to the restaurant while I waited 20mins. Now I completely understand why, no cars stopped by.
