Ruby Tuesday — Restaurant in Saraland

Terrible experience...too long of a wait...no bread served while waiting on meal...when inquired, was told bread was only served with meal...when meal finally arrived, my aunt and l was served 1/2 toast each..BTW, had to ask for silverware (even after long wait)...when questioned about such a small amt, the waitress (attitude kicking in) said "l'll get the manager"????...when manager comes, she tells us sarcastically that bread doesn't even come with the meal, only breadsticks and they were out (not the customers' problem) and as a courtesy she gave us that 1/2 toast...the meal (chicken with pasta) didn't look appealing...was saturated with tomato sauce...the young "flippety" manager asked me (nasty tone) if l wanted my meal as l was looking at it with disgust...l told her "no"...she yanked it from the table...l tasted some of my aunt's meal (who ordered the same)..and the taste matched the look of it..terrible..l asked the waitress for the manager's name..she told me Mica (or something like that)..then the "flip-mouth", rude, so-called manager had the audacity to come back to our table and aggressively get in my face and said "my name is Mica..did u get that"..how dare the belligerent, immature rookie get in my face..l ignored her showing respect to my elderly aunt..just curious how she even got the position..certainly not qualified..she needs severe training in working with the public, respect for elders and seniors, attitude adjustment, courtesy, self control and lessons in "manners 101"..l was proud of my self control bc things could have ended very differently as l ignored her.. it wasn't easy..l have no intentions of ever coming back and plan on sharing my experience with as many ppl as l know about this Ruby Tuesday in...

This poor place. I've been eating here off and on for 5 years. They always seem to change staff, managers and upgrade the looks but nothing seems to help. Negatives: Ate weekday work lunch and had to wait for a table/boothe to be cleaned just to sit. When asked what we has to wait on host said "I apologize, we are slammed. Your waitress will be with you shortly." The restaurant MAY have been half full. From what we seen the salad bar has been upgraded yet again but the poor girl serving the bar has to walk completely around the bar and back just to wait the table close to kitchen doors. She was the only waiter in the area. We were on a weekday work lunch hour and we spent from the time we walked into the door the remaining 45min of our lunch in there just trying to eat. Every little thing seemed to take so long and the poor waitress was running between 15-20 customers. 15 min was drive time. We work in the same community. Needless to say we were late getting back. Some plates at salad bar were dirty. Positives: Waitress was very helpful, nice and tried making every move count. Good seeing the place make upgrades to salad bar but other areas need improvements other than just the salad bar. The closed END of the bar where money station is needs a walk through...
