By far one of the worst hotel experiences iv ever had. I made a reservation around 2am on July first my mother and 2 boys was driving home. We was on the road for about 14 hours when my mother couldn’t drive anymore, she had my oldest in the car. I booked the first hotel that popped up. When arrived around 5am the gentleman that checked us in was extremely nice and helpful, he expressed that check in was at 3pm but since we had kids with us he’ll check us in. I told him no worries if you can’t bc the hotel next door said they had rooms available now as well. He checked us in we went up to our room, my toddler wife woke open a drawer in the drawer was two used tooth brushes he got a hold off, instantly got pissed. We enter the bathroom stains/marks inside the toilet bowl that wasn’t easy on the eyes, brown splatters on the toilet seat and the inside of the shower looked gross. We got there at 5am my mother and older son went down and waited for breakfast at 6am they came up around 7:30 7:45am while I was already in the room with my toddler, cable/ tv didn’t work no internet no channels for my boys to watch. I went down stairs around 10 am to complaint. I spoke to a rude African American female who seems to hate her job had the nastiest attitude. She didn’t offer a room change bc there wasn’t any avalible and said I can’t give you a discount bc you booked 3rd party I said no worries I’ll call corporate. After talking to corporate Expedia they denied my refund, I went back down stairs, was talked to and treated like crap and had the police called on me bc all I wanted was my money back for the nasty room. So I can go else where. Cops came of course they said they offered me another room, they did offer points but I didn’t know what that ment nor did they explain it until the cop asked them for something in writing for me to understand what it was….. don’t book here the ladies attitude was nasty and distasteful especially after being on the road for 14 hours. I don’t remember the two ladies name but I’m sure you’ll see them they have a resting anger face!!!!

In town for the holiday and needed a place to stay. I booked through a 3rd party website where the ratings were average. Well, I was pleasantly surprised that Country Inn & Suites (Savannah Airport location) out did their self. I notified them of our late check-in and they were totally fine. Walking into the newly renovated rooms, I noticed the space was super clean and neat. Amenities such as the mini fridge, microwave, iron and coffee maker were clean, well-organized and arranged to fit within the decor. A Blackout shade and opaque screen are provided instead of a full length curtains (nighty night). Television does carry apps and cable options; so everybody can watch something. The room did have two USB-C outlets. Located off the main road, traffic noises were not heard throughout the day or night. Daily continental breakfast was provided (edible). Also, they had a waffle station which was a nice treat. Last but not least was free parking on the premises (YAY). There is an indoor pool (access included) and paid guest laundry service provided on-site. The downsides were those thin walls (I heard my neighbors), the shower handle fell off (service repaired immediately), and housekeeping didn't clean daily but made sure I had clean towels every day. I know some establishments have tailored housekeeping policies due to COVID, so I'm not sure if they did too. You'll have to inquire. Pricing was fairly decent given my stay was during a holiday. PS. There is a good shopping center located on the other side of the interstate. Wow, I ended up sharing more than expected..... I would totally stay there again.

Clean, high ceilings and able to leave my bags there until I check in. Awesome customer service. Thomas was amazing I left something in the room and he immediately got it for me so when I come back it will be there! Update: the rooms are very updated and i LOVE this place Update: I’m annoyed. I stayed first day on points, second day I made another reservation. Today I wanted to extend but I was told I wouldn’t be able to. The lady called her supervisor and went to the back and made up some lie and came back and said she can’t rent from me. The front desk said it was a chargeback. I asked for some sort of proof of a chargeback. She said she couldn’t and I’m not able to extend my stay. The policies are always different depending on who is at the desk. I dislike this very much. They don’t treat elite members like elite members. The guy who checked me in was a nice Indian man, I informed him I don’t have my card. He said no problem he can use the card on file. I confirmed the last four digits. Easy. Yesterday I did the same thing. Easy. No issue. Now today it’s a different person and it’s a different thing. Highly irritated especially when I have to work at 12 hour shift tonight. I have to stick with Marriott because this is unacceptable.

DONT STAY HERE THE HOUSE KEEPING WILL STEAL FROM YOUR ROOMS. If I could give negative stars I would with the way this hotel treated my family during our stay. Mid June my family and I stayed here for my sister in law Graduation. While out celebrating and shopping at the outlet mall with our family house keeping came into our room and stole $7,000 worth of jewelry. Which we didn't realize was missing till settling down that evening for bed. Now before we left out to explore with family, that morning I called down to ask for clean towels, and I personally went to retrieve it. Any extra towels I got from the cleaning crew in the hall. Because we had a lot of stuff from shopping and kids with us. We did not need cleaning services for our room because we were leaving that next morning.

We went down to the front desk to let them know what happened. At this time is was late around midnight and all management was gone, so only the receptionist was there. She made a report in their chat and management was supposed to contact us in the morning at 9AM. She assumed maybe it was thrown out and told us that garbage pick up was at 4am. That we were free to look through the dumpster to try to find it. She was older and disabled and could not personally help herself. But she did provide us with gloves. This was so humiliating having to dig through the trash in the middle of the night with waste and bugs. The receptionist did try to guide us on how they do trash by floor and where it would be and it was useless. We called the police and made a report. That morning we were waiting to hear from management, no one called or reached out to us. Went down to the desk and THE MANAGER RACIALLY DISCRIMINTAED AGAINST US. SAYING THER'S NO WAY WE HAD JEWERLY THAT EXSPENSIVE, THAT THEY COULDN'T WATCH CAMERAS TILL MONDAY(THIS IS STURDAY MORNING), THEY WOULDN'T COMPENSATE US FOR A ROOM TILL MONDAY TO GET THE ISSUE RESOLVED, AND TOLD US WE HAD TO LEAVE.

We weren't looking for any compensation, we just wanted them to take accountability for what happened, find the staff that did it and have our belongings returned to us, before our 6 hr drive back to Atlanta. Telling someone I cant help you and you need to leave after your employees stole thousands of dollars of jewelry from your guest is UNACCEPTABLE! We called the cops again, when they arrived the manager tried to act as if we were a disturbance and turn the cops on us when we called law enforcement on them. I was able to diffuse the situation, and after speaking to one of the officers, he had them go over footage of the incident( we can't watch footage till Monday). They see the house keeper go into the room and come out a few minutes later with one small trash bag. But of course the jewelry was slipped into her cleaning apron. Due to blind spots in the hall and camera quality they can't see her with the jewelry. She was the one who obviously took it, because she was the only person who entered our room while gone. That being said we were just ready to leave the police gave us a report number to handle it further.

THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE AND PATHEIC OF HOW YOU TREAT AND ALLOW YOUR GUEST TO BE TREATED BY EMOPLYEES UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES.

We own a family business and have to deal with customers with all circumstances. Each of which is handled with respect, honor, and integrity to do what is right for our customers. THIS HOTEL HAS NO RESPECT, HONOR, AND INTEGRITY FOR ITSELF AND THEIR GUEST.

I just finished a five night stay at this hotel and did encounter some problems/issues. Upon arrival, I found out that my reservation had been cancelled by someone else who didn’t have my credit card information and the hotel allowed that to happen. Thankfully there were five available rooms, so we were able to stay at the hotel in which the rest of our group was staying for convenience. Since my reservation was cancelled, I did not get the rate that my initial reservation was for and had to pay $175 more. The people at the front desk were nice, but not budging on charging me the original rate even though, my reservation was cancelled by an unauthorized person. I went back down the next morning to talk to someone else and be a little more forceful and I was told that I would receive the initial rate and a reimbursement would be put on my card by Thursday. Thursday evening I went down to see why the reimbursement was not on my card and they then told me that I would not receive it until next week. Of course that is after I am home and fourteen hours away and have to depend upon them to reimburse me. I’m currently waiting to see if that is going to happen. Our groups’ rooms were not cleaned and beds and towels not made or replenished. My mother-in-law had to ask for towels and for our room to be cleaned multiple times. Some of our party had their own pillow or blanket left laying on the bed and the housekeepers left notes saying that they would not make the bed because personal items were on the bed, but the day before they did in fact make their bed. The toilet paper roll was removed for our room one day and the rod was left laying on the counter. After going downstairs to get toilet paper and waiting for fifteen minutes for someone to come to the front desk it was very frustrating. Apparently the person working the front desk also runs the shuttle to and from the airport. The front desk staff was very nice, but I wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel is dingy and dirty, the carpet is so sticky feeling and stained that we wore our shoes to not have to walk on it. The housekeeping is subpar and being over charged because the hotel allowed someone else to cancel your reservation is just insanity. I feel like they should have offered an even deeper discount than my original rate due to the fact that they allowed this to happen.

Update to the hotel’s response: It is simply untrue that I booked through a third party site and the rate that I booked is the rate that I should have received and was eventually charged (one week later). If you quoted me a certain rate initially, that is what is expected to be charged per night. I called the hotel directly and booked the room and held it with my credit card. We love to travel and I’ve stayed in Country Inn and Suites before and this stay was very disappointing and now lying certainly isn’t helping the image...

Had reservations for three rooms for one night. We arrived at hotel to check in at 6:00pm we were told the rooms were being cleaned and not yet ready but will be ready in no more that 30 minutes. For us this was not a problem it was strange since I stay at choice hotels weekly being a Diamond member(I don’t expect a red carpet be rolled out or special treatment for being a diamond member only mentioning my membership to show how often I stay at hotel and how loyal I am to Choice hotels) and have for years and never have had this happen especially at 6pm (not and early check in) but still this was ok not a problem. We were then told at 6:40pm our rooms were ready and given all three room keys. When we arrived at our rooms the cleaning service had not even started cleaning two of the three rooms and we were told by cleaning service she is doing the best she can and will get to it when she can. We all three went into the one room that was ready and called the front desk and were told we would just have to wait. The other two rooms were not ready until 9:30pm! Almost 4 hours after our arrival. The cleaning service was still cleaning rooms in the hallway and across from our rooms at 12:30pm and talking and yelling back and forth with each other from one room to the other room keeping everyone awake after Midnight! I never ever leave bad reviews and I never call the front desk to complain on anyone but had to call the front desk to request the cleaning service please stop yelling so that we could go to sleep seeing that we had to be awake in 4 hours to go to work. I will say the front desk and the cleaning service were very friendly and nice the hotel was very nice and clean Im sure I would definitely stay at this location again if it weren’t for the horrible experience we had. We were never told sorry for the inconveniences once time nor were we offered any kind of compensation at all just basically told it is what it is and you will just have to wait again they were friendly about it but fell having to wait from 6pm-9:30pm to check in is completely unacceptable and absolutely ridiculous. I understand things happens in business and sometime you can fall short handed or have issues that cause problems like this that are out of you control unfortunately but an apology of offering some sort of compensation to show you even care would go a long ways in this case. not only was there no compensation or apology I was also charged a $100 security deposit per room so instead of a $100 hold they placed a $100 hold per room on my card so they have held up $300 on my bank account for 2 weeks for a one night stay at the worst experience I’ve had in all my years of...
