This review is long, but worth the read. We booked room blocks for our Friday, June 12, 2020 wedding at the Hampton Inn, and when COVID hit and we had to reschedule, Lisa assured us that the date was open and we would have the block for the same Friday (June 11, 2021) next year. Turns out she booked our block for SATURDAY, June 12, 2021 - which is NOT the date of our wedding. Our guests had a terrible time trying to book rooms in our block because there were only a handful for Friday, the day of the actual wedding, and when I finally realized what was going on, we had more rooms added the DAY the block expired (which was of no help to my guests).
My future brother-in-law called the hotel and said he was going to pay for mine and my fiances room on Thursday night (the night of the rehearsal dinner) as a surprise (a SURPRISE)... Lisa then called my FIANCE, thinking it was my brother-in-law, and completely ruined the surprise (not a big deal, but when you stack it up with all the other things that happened during our stay/experience working with the Hampton Inn, it's almost laughable. You can't make this sh*t up!)
We got to the hotel on Thursday afternoon, only to find the elevator broken! There aren't many floors, but having to haul all of my wedding day luggage up 4 flights of stairs was... not how I wanted my wedding weekend to start!
When we (the bride and groom) checked into our room on Thursday, we found out after the rehearsal dinner that the room we were checked into was actually my future mother-in-law's room. The front desk GAVE HER A KEY to a room that was already occupied by us, and told her to go check it out and see if the COVID seal had been broken (it had, we had checked in a few hours earlier). We reconvened in the lobby, had to pack up all of our stuff and move rooms the night before the wedding.

Levon was such a nice guy, it wasn’t his fault at all, he called so many other hotels for us to see if anyone had a room for us..he didn’t have to do that but he did without being asked. Everywhere within a 10 minute radius was booked. He had finally come across a hotel 12 minutes away that had one room left…he gave us a refund for our booking and we were on our way to the next one, it was a Super 8 by Wyndham in Chaska. We arrived shortly after 2AM and the exterior had us second guessing right away…this place charged us $165 just like the Hampton Inn…we got into our room and found bedbugs and one of the beds sheets were never changed used, dirty, hair all over. The floor were dirty with spills and dirt, our shoes were sticking to the floor everywhere we walked. The mini fridge was filthy inside and out, the floor board heaters were covered in old liquids, food and hair. Super 8 by Wyndham in Chaska was just something out of a nightmare. We got refunded and ended up driving 1.5 hours home and didn’t get to our house until shortly after 4AM! The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because of Levons customer service. My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a well-maintained bathroom fully stocked with shampoo, soap, and lotion. Everything met my basic needs and then some.
