My friend and I came to this establishment today for lunch, and for the most part, my experience was great. There were some highlights, and a few small details that I considered areas of opportunity. Overall, though, I would recommend those around the Shakopee area to come here to dine! I thoroughly enjoyed Bánh Mì Heo Quay, which basically meant crispy pork belly bánh mì, as it was gigantic along with a lot of pork, so it was crunch and flavor all around! Maybe the pork could have a bit less skin and more meat since they were pork bits, but honestly when it comes to crispy pork belly, having just skin is amazing as well. Bún Bò Huế was pretty good. I wasn't sure why it was not on the menu, but rather on the board by the front door, but I felt like one could've easily missed it, not knowing it existed. I am sure they have their reasons, but I would've prefered being able to see it on the menu right away. It tasted pretty good, but didn't have enough content. Even the amount of noodles was just okay, and I wasn't full after a bowl, which might've been why I had to order other food. My friend got the steak & eggs, which she saw from TikTok, which for some reason also wasn't on the menu but just the board. Once again, I felt like that customers could've easily missed it. I liked the fact that they provided baguette and veggies to put steak and eggs into the bread to make a sandwich. The steak tasted pretty good! In terms of the drinks, my friend thought the matcha Vietnamese coffee was too strong, as she started feeling jittery almost right away. I enjoyed my brown sugar fresh milk boba, but I totally forgot to ask about if I could reduce sugar content or ice, because I felt like I would've enjoyed it more if I had no ice and less sugar. Therefore, with all the comments above considered, I would give this establishment a 4 for now. However, I think they have a lot of potential and I wouldn't be surprised if many customers find them worth a 5 star! They have a good amount of innovation with their menu while offering options to those who prefered a more traditional food option. Once again, I would definitely recommend them!

Been wanting to try this place for a while now, then saw Tony Cu’s TikTok and committed. I ordered online for pickup, and it said it would be ready between 5:10-8pm tonight. Ummm… that’s quite the window. I called them (9 times) to let them know that my husband was running errands and wouldn’t be there until 6:30-7pm, but the call wouldn’t go through. So, I emailed them to tell them to hold on making the order (I have the receipts to prove it). Didn’t get a response, but I did receive a text 20 minutes after I ordered saying the order was ready for pickup. So, I called and emailed again, and the call still wouldn’t go through and still no response. My husband showed up around 7:15pm and they had our order sitting on the counter. My husband politely asked them to remake it or cancel the order, explaining what had happened and saying we didn’t want $80 worth of cold food that had been sitting out for hours. To which they replied by trying to gaslight my husband into feeling like he had done something wrong. They begrudgingly said they would “remake” it, but pretty sure they just reheated the food. All that aside, I agree with Tony Cu in his review, the wings were extremely greasy and flavorless and there were too many noodles in the spring rolls. The rest of the food we got was ok at best. But maybe that’s just because of the bad taste I have left in my mouth from their customer service, or lack thereof. ADVICE FOR BUN MEE: Fix your online ordering system to offer times for customers to pickup their food or provide customers an accurate time window for their food to be ready for pickup. And at the very least, have a phone that works. We won’t be back and would advise others to go to one of the many other restaurants out there with better food and customer service. Not worth the headache!

I will never go during a grand opening or go during a soft opening. You’re setting yourself for failure. I went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was dead. Their kiosk are already broken or do not work. I had to order in the front. They gave me a buzzer. The buzzer apparently does not work, but then the workers were kind enough to deliver. They need to change their method depending on the day if it’s busy or not if they want their customers to pick up the food or get it delivered. Poor workers had to come and find me and guess which order I was. She was sweet & kind. Offered me water & offered to refill. A very good worker I specifically had. I’m surprised they don’t have a water station up anywhere yet. I could definitely see it for the future. The Banh Mi sandwich I had was just alright. Kinda less than alright. Where is the pate? Where is the pickled vegetables?? The green onions or the cilantro?? It truly felt like bread, meat, sauce. Would I order again? Maybe because of the location and how convenient it is. The cream cheese puffs were alright. You honestly can’t mess it up hard. I would order it again. The boba I ordered was alright. Would order again. I scanned the menu and was shocked at how extremely expensive the pho was. I can’t say anything at the taste, but I don’t know if I could truly order a pho for the amount they charge. I will one day try it for the future and edit this, but for now I’m only going for everything else. I hope this business thrives. We need more Asian business owners here in Shakopee. I hope to see them at future Shakopee events & communicate with the local communities as well as continuing to post on Eat-N-Go. This restaurant is for the rich. 3 items for $30.

I really try to support locally owned businesses. My husband and I came in for lunch around 12:30 on a Saturday and they weren't very busy. The first thing we noticed walking in was the absolutely filthy doors (both the exterior and interior doors), dead flowers in the front and the floors were sticky to walk on. We didn't have a great feeling.

I'd read the reviews so I knew that you ordered at the kiosks. There are no posted menus anywhere, so you have to spend time scrolling through the menu on the kiosk. No wonder people waited 60+ mins in line when they opened as it took us about 6-7 mins to figure out what we wanted. There is very little description of the food and pictures are fuzzy, so if you're not super familiar with Vietnamese food you might struggle.

We ordered and selected no tip, as we typically like to tip in cash. When we finished, we got a message that said, "Thanks for your $6.71 tip!" and then it said it would text us our receipt. Not cool, especially since we would've tipped much more.

We went to find a table and literally every table in the restaurant was dirty. A man was cleaning one of them but he just did one and left.

We received our order sporadically which was actually ok. We ordered shrimp spring rolls which were ok but the sauce was really good. My husband had the grilled chicken noodle bowl which he liked and I had the chicken pho. The pho was fine, nothing that blew my mind but there was a lot - probably enough for 2 more meals. At over $50 for lunch (we just had waters) that made me feel better.

There seems to be no real process for the order delivery. I honestly don't know how they got our food to us. I assumed we'd get a text when our food was ready and we'd go to the counter like the kiosk instructed, but we got the text that our food was ready about 90 minutes after we got home. The woman who delivered our food asked if we were Order #16 and we had no idea what our order # was (no receipt), so we just recited what we'd selected to her.

I'll come back in a while. TIPS - for God's sake, post some menus or print them out and leave them on the counter so that people can figure out what they want before holding up the lines at the 3 kiosks. Maybe implement that numbering system for food table delivery? Customers get a table tent with a number on it so you know where an order goes? CLEAN. I know you're likely overwhelmed, but that first impression is everything and you have a...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bun Mee, a Vietnamese restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere and the enticing aroma of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Without a doubt, Bun Mee has earned its rightful place as one of the top culinary gems in MN. The menu at Bun Mee offers a delightful array of Vietnamese dishes that cater to all taste preferences. Whether you're a fan of traditional classics or seeking innovative twists, this restaurant has something for everyone. I found myself thoroughly impressed by the variety of options, allowing me to explore the rich flavors of Vietnamese cuisine. Bun Mee's banh mi sandwiches are simply unparalleled. The bread was impeccably crisp on the outside, giving way to a soft and fluffy interior. The fillings were a symphony of flavors, with the perfect balance of savory, tangy, and spicy. Each bite was a revelation, leaving me craving for more. Apart from the banh mi, Bun Mee also offers an extensive range of other Vietnamese delicacies. I had the pleasure of trying their pho, and it was a bowl of pure comfort. The aromatic broth, the tender meat, and the fresh herbs all combined to create a bowl of steaming goodness that warmed my soul. It was evident that the ingredients used were of the highest quality, resulting in a truly memorable dining experience. The service at Bun Mee deserves a special mention. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to answer any questions and make recommendations based on individual preferences. The passion they exhibited for Vietnamese cuisine added an extra layer of enjoyment to my dining experience. The ambiance at Bun Mee was inviting and cozy. The restaurant's interior was tastefully decorated, exuding a warm and welcoming vibe. It was the perfect setting to savor the culinary delights and immerse oneself in the vibrant Vietnamese culture. My visit to Bun Mee was an absolute delight. From the delectable banh mi sandwiches to the impeccable service and inviting atmosphere, this Vietnamese restaurant has left an indelible mark on my palate. I wholeheartedly recommend Bun Mee to anyone seeking an unforgettable Vietnamese...
