I’m in my late 30s out for dinner with my adult nephew who isn’t 21 yet, stopped here after golf for a quick bite but were denied a menu… we were asked for our IDs which we showed then were denied service. Bartender assumed I lied about him being my nephew and told us we should’ve “worked on our script”. All I asked for was a menu, we hadn’t even sat down. Neither of us had any intentioned of ordering alcohol. Never in my life have I experienced this and I’ll never be back. That was ridiculous.

Upon the request, the staff asked for our IDs and then asked if he was my guardian. My uncle replied with “we are just ordering food but he’s my nephew.” She then replied with “should have worked on your script.” and told us we couldn’t even be in the facility to eat food.
