Went to Ripfire today and left the place with mixed feelings. First off, the pizza was very good. Excellent, actually. We tried Paradise and Margherita and loved both. I got a can of dry hopped white wine and it was a revelation. What I disliked is that the place is essentially a fast food place but they make you pay tips and do it upfront. That's right, when paying with a credit card at the register upon placing your order you get a screen with a selection of 10, 15 and 20 % tip option that you can't bypass (at least we didn't see a bypass option). A tip should follow a service and the amount should be determined by the quality of the service. That's not the case here. We picked the standard 15% expecting a standard service. The table that we sat at wasn't very clean. It had some crumbs and a wet spot. We cleaned it up ourselves using napkins. No biggie. We also had to go and get our own paper plates and forks. There wasn't a waitress around. All the service that we got was a young lady bringing our pizzas to the table and asking if we needed anything else. All work must be rewarded and I am happy to pay a generous tip for a good service but this place provided no service to us that warranted even a dollar's worth of tips.

we gave this place a try during our first visit to siesta beach. I absolutely recommend it and would 100% come again. the employees, atmosphere, and music were all so fun, yet laid back. the paradise pizza was to die for. they have one of those awesome touch screen soda machines for drinks. I loved the open patio facing the street, it gives a nice breeze to the inside of the restaurant. the prices were very reasonable and the service was even better. the guy who checked us out made sure to ask lots of questions to my gluten free cousin about her crust, that was very much appreciated. a male employee offered to throw away our garbage and get us a box for our leftovers. 10/10, a must-try for anyone visiting sarasota.

My husband and I ordered 2 pizzas while we were in vacation just down the street. We ordered through the slip app and had them deliver. I have to eat gluten free and so paid for the gluten free crust. The pizzas arrived and I ate 3 slices. It tasted good but then I realized it was the same size and looked like the same crust as my husbands regular. I didn’t eat any more but unfortunately had a strong reaction and now have had body aches for over 24 hrs. When I contacted them through Slice, they said that they didn’t make a mistake and then said they couldn’t see the pictures I sent. Mistakes happen, but this wasn’t just a wrong topping. Not happy with product or the service after.

STOP Don’t eat here!!!! I was threatened with physical violence by an employee who had to be restrained. There are several other options to choose from on Siesta Key, where you will receive much better food without being threatened. Ordered online at 7:10 and received a confirmation email at 7:12 with a link to track my order, and a notice that my pizza would be ready between 7:27 and 7:42. 7:50 came and went and the progress never moved beyond “being prepared”. So, I walked in and explained to a young lady that I was here to pick-up an online order. She pointed to the cashier who was preoccupied working on two different devices. I eventually got close enough to see my order on the counter behind the cashier, so I asked the young lady again if she could hand me my box . This is where it all went crazy….The cashier handed me the box, I thanked him, turned and walked away. Then several seconds later, with an attitude, he shouts “sorry you had to wait so long”. I explained to him that I waited 45 minutes. He lost his mind, tried to grab my pizza, and then tried to grab me. When I left he was being restrained by the owner and his coworkers. Just as I feared,my pizza was cold and tasted like cold cardboard with cold ketchup and cold cheese. Behavior like this has become common because we/consumers,...

Pizza was good, but the service wasn't. Eventhough I ordered online for pickup, their website said in about 15 minutes. I showed up 25 minutes later to find the guy behind the counter cutting pieces of bread. When I asked for my order, he looked surprised and then went to the register where he found the printed order. He just said "sorry. Is the system that just printed your order, give me about 15 minutes and it would be ready". It happen that the receipt showed the actual time that it printed and it was exactly 1 minute after I placed my order. Pizza was good, but service not so much.

Update to my Review 02AUG2022 I honestly believe that when a business administration replies back to a constructive comment in the way you guys did, it shows that you guys really care. A mistake or error could happen to anyone and anywhere. I thank you for address my issue without trying to justify the situation. Eventhough I live in Miami, I look forward to my return to Siesta Key and your restaurant. I will more than gladly change my stars review since I believe your business...
