Georgian Place Shopping and Office Condos — Local services in Somerset Township

There are not near as many stores there as there were when the first opened it. There are more doctors offices than store. In my opinion when the first group bought the mansion to put in the shops they went about it totally wrong. The mansion itself has changed hands many times usually to the previously owner loosing it financially. I could go on from personal experience up there with the owner before the current owner. The one side now has a beautiful gym with very qualified trainers there. Need a good one? Ask for Kelsey. There's even a terrific chiropractor at the gyms location. There's a licensed day care at one end. The handful of stores that are up there now are not the factory outlets as orginally it was, but some of the nicest speciality shops, most of them are locally owned. If you have a chance do go for a walk through, but no matter when you go wear a jacket at least, even on the stillest days it is windy up there. During the summer be sure to visit the farmers market. Very unique place. Someone said that this was one of (if not) the very first shopping plaza of its kind. Don't quote me on it. I feel like this could be a great place if there where more open shopping available. Signage for what is there is a little hard to find/navigate but they do have some. Plenty of parking for visitors and shops. Overall they keep everything very neat and tidy. The parking lots are in great condition, lines looked freshly painted in certain areas. Trash cans throughout, benches to be able to soap up the fall sun and fresh air. Really unique place. We visited an antique shop, second hand shop and a furniture rehabilitation place. Only go there for my eye doctors. When it was built, it was filled with outlet stores. To get from store to store you had to go out side then walk to the next store and go in. It sits on the top of a hill with a lake behind it, so in the winter it was very cold and windy and sales dropped and even with outlet prices stores began to close.
