Front desk family is kind. I know they can't help who stays here but it seems people live here and that's always problematic.
Decent room but they really ought to steam clean the floors. You can't walk around barefoot--it's sticky and gross. : / the bed and room overall is decent but the shower was slippery. I had to put hand towels down. Update: I talked too soon, I'm in room 111 and the kid above was running back and forth for over an hour. I tried having patience but finally called the front desk, soon after the guy starts yelling and talking loudly. I will have to call cops if this continues. : / not a good first night here
I also phoned the front desk and the woman who answered was moody and was rushing and rude to get me off the phone.
Day2: again loud running and loud talking from the people upstairs. If they live here, they should be made to move to the first floor. This is unacceptable. I'll be writing in to Wyndham. This was the worst Wyndham hotel I've stayed at.
Update 3: day of check out I got a knock on my door at 10:30, when check out is at 11. I found that to be uneccesary, especially when getting ready.
I then went to check out and get my receipt and the woman Tina was there. I asked her to buy water, because the Indian man the other day that was training a younger Indian woman let me buy two for $1. I said I thought he was the owner or manager and she said that the owner was out of town for 3 days and it couldn't of been him. She then started griping about he shouldn't have done that and that water is for employees only and now everyone would expect it. I told her it only takes two seconds to be a kind person and it's not like the price of the water is coming out of her paycheck. She's an older moody woman and just kept making a fuss about it. I let her know that I knew she was the moody woman from when I called the other day and that seems inappropriate since she's in customer service. She then got and attitude and tone and threatened me stating I would never stay here again--not that I want to be that was uncalled for. I'll be making a formal complaint to Wyndham about her. It's also pretty standard that a hotel would have two free bottles of water in the room, especially in the...
Read moreI would rate negative zero is possible. There is nothing 'modern ' about this place, our room had one outlet in wall and 2 on the night table lamp, no USB or any device friendly amenities,The smell in the room will make you puke, the bathroom has a window with no curtain, drapes, nothing but an open window for anyone walking or driving by. The beds, 2 queen beds, or art least that's what they call then. More the size of twin beds with maybe an inch added on. And don't expect comfort, as soon as you sit on bed you've fallen to the ground and have the metal from the box springs coming thru what's left of the mattress (if you can call it a mattress, more like a sheet covering the box spring) so after being impaled by metal while sinking to the ground trying to sit on the bed, our overnight stay quickly turned into 15 minutes we returned keys and explained the problems to the clerk. The room was $128 total, we didn't expect 5 star, but definitely expected better than that. The layout of the room, and the size were great, the dirty bed linens along with everything else was enough to get out as quick as we could . The hotel did charge us only$50, (, which is still a rip off) instead of the full overnight fare of $128.,, but I doubt that any issues...
Read moreI checked into a king suite room and was both majorly disappointed and grossed out. There were stains on the bed and ceiling, black mold growing in the shower, and the tile in the room was so greasy I had to wear shoes the entire time I was in there. We stayed in the room for about three hours, during that time we heard constant noise including the busy road, gun shots, sirens, and incredibly loud people above and next to us. This was easily the most nightmarish hotel stay I've ever had, after three hours we were so uncomfortable we left and didn't even stay the night we were charged for. We planned on staying three days there but barely spent three hours. The only remotely positive thing I have to say is that the guy working the desk offered a refund for the last two days we decided we wouldn't be spending there, although he didn't seem a bit concerned why we were leaving after three hours of a 3 day stay and in fact didn't even ask. I live and work down here and this was the closest place to my families house but I will certainly never be back and I will certainly never let a family or...
