Dont bother ordering online to pick up at this store! Especially during the holidays, as the staff, including management, are uncooperative and aloof to the fact that the process is supposed to be FASTER than shopping in store! I walked in around noon on Saturday 11/28 to pickup my online order. First, there was no wait when I arrived. A manager ended up assisting me, but COULD NOT FIND MY MERCH! (Ordered and paid yesterday btw) So I offered to go and grab one off the shelf, to be helpful even though I had no reason to assist. I got the merchandise back to the custome services desk only to be told that it was a different color. The cashier then cancels the original online transaction and attempts to ring it up as a new transaction, asking for another payment, which would have been over $260 charges on the card I was using, for a product that cost 130. The employee seemed to not understand how electronic transactions work, nor the trouble it causes to get the credit company to reverse a charge. I expected better from YOU target. Read morePurchased a Ninga Slushie maker. Choose Target based on the price , location and the promise of $30 free gift card. To my surprise the gift card was charged to my credit card? Thinking it was a mistake I called customer service. Honestly I believe the associate was reading from a script as she explain to me how the product that I selected at the price that was advertised was not the actual price it was $30 more . So I was charged for the free gift card. That was not actually free. I would much rather have had the option to pay the full price. In my mind it was a bit of deceptive advertising and when I explained that to her she didn't even acknowledge what I was saying. My family and I shop at target all the time this was a major purchase for me at a new store that's now convenient in my neighborhood. So what I thought was actually a reward for me being faithful and making this large purchase was not actually the reality. My fault for not understanding the Target advertising parameters of my purchase. PS I read the fine print. Would I make a major purchase there again...
Read morePlaced order for same day delivery, that was not delivered. Called the store to find out what has happened to the items I ordered, they gave me 800 number to customer service that turned out to be a number to medical devices and not customer service. Called back , spoke to "manager" who gave me the wrong number again. Finally I was able to reach customer service , after long hold I was told that delivery person left the items at front of the door even though i left specific instructions not to do that, they texted the picture to the landline. I asked for the picture of delivered items to be send to my cell phone but the customer service lady who barely spoke english told me, the driver faxed it to me already. I told her again it was a landline therefore picture was not delivered and I haven't received order either. She told me "I offered you solution but you are not accepting it " and hung up the phone.
