I've stayed here when Jennifer,Tara and Marsha had their names behind it. And I've come to realize one thing. It don't matter who runs the place! The Owner is lazy and cheap. After reading the reviews below and the one left from myself it seems to me the community LIKES to point their finger at what's visible. But nothing has changed. Every time the staff was polite and helped as much as they could. I wish I had the owners personal number Because he/she definitely get an ear full. IT DON'T MATTER HOW OR WHO RUNS IT. You don't give proper material for it to be ran right. It don't matter how many times you change the name if you got the same LAZY, unwilling to spend owner your going to keep getting trash. The place smells of mold! Let me guess it's the workers fault¿? Beds are as old as the building!! Shame on the workers. Floor tiles move as you walk on them. Elevator is a joke. When I stayed last week the worker was more interested in his phone. And don't blame workers that didn't show up for not having rooms to sale. The gentleman behind the desk could've put his phone down and cleaned one. This is a pass the buck, blame it on someone else business. I heard them speaking horribly about the last lady who ran it. But she was busy every time I was there. I just laughed at him and shook my head as I was walking out. The audacity to speak of someone who isn't there to defend. A little hard work never hurts anyone. PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN AND STOP POINTING FINGERS YOU HAVE A...
Read moreWhere does one even begin, well let’s start with the miracle they had a room available for a weary traveler like myself. Being deep in the trenches of wedding season, it’s wise not to book a hotel last minute, but I was being foolhardy. After calling the other more “prominent” hotels in the area, and finding nothing available or a reasonable rate for what was, I was sure my luck had run out. Goodness, was I wrong. The Wyndham Wingate graciously scooped me up in their arms, and charged me a rate that was nothing if not respectable. From the front doors and all the ones to the rooms on the first floor being wide open, not only was my curiosity satisfied but I didn’t have to lift a finger. The thing about hotels I can’t stand is cleanliness and modern fixtures and luxuries such as rings for toilet paper in the bathroom, and thankfully you won’t be disappointed at this establishment. The next morning I had the privilege of culinarily traveling to Latin America for an exquisitely ripe banana and lukewarm coffee that surely had its roots from Costa Rica. What a magical ending to an excellent stay. Ahhh, till next...
Read moreService was fine. Hotel was overall dirty, but I was very tired and willing to look past it. When I went to finally lay down for the night, I was greeted by an extremely uncomfortable bed with springs cracking, and a mattress cover that was so thick it felt like a cardboard moving blanketunderneath the sheet that eventually I got frustrated because it was irritating my skin that I went to pull it off and was greeted with a nasty brown mattress that look like a crime scene. I tried two other rooms after this and they both had they both had stained old mattresses, which look like they probably purchased secondhand from another hotel. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and tried our best, but each mattress was filthy with this terrible mattress cover that just basically lays on top of the mattress, like a dog pee pad, absolutely avoid this hotel. I was stranded at 12:30 at night looking for another hotel avoid this hotel at all costs. This is just a construction worker hub, and I guess those poor people are fine with those terrible conditions but if you have any kind of...
