You absolutely CAN find deals here. If you can beat They're own employees, the constantly crashing site, and what you buy wasn't just something thrown back onto the auctions after someone returned it. They absolutely do not care about the condition of these items, which Is why they are at a discount, but BE WARY AND INSPECT ITEMS BEFORE BIDDING. To start, when something is put up for auction there's a good chance nobody even opened the box. Wound up buying a steamer and finding a roomba inside, kind of a win, but not at all what I wanted and I'm not even sure how that happend. Not only that, but it was beyond disgusting and even if I wanted to return it with the buyers assurance, how? It's not even what was listed inside the box? Not only that, but the buyers assurance assures one thing, people buying the product, switching it for their own worn out / broken items at home, and returning it for a full refund, for it to only then be sold again until someone gets scammed without the buyers assurance and be unable to return it. Not only that but when the costs of the buyers assurance, lot fees, buyers premium charges etc; On top of potentially a monthly subscription, these tend not to be deals anymore. Also, the list price/ value they list items at is NOT REAL. they look up the product and mark it as worth whatever the highest ever price was for said item, NOT the current price, not the msrp, just whatever some random post charged for that item onAmazon. look through the auctions and do the research yourself and you'll see. This causes items to routinely go for MORE THAN RETAIL when all fees are accounted for, which leads me to believe its a scam to up their profit or people don't fully understand what the item costs, for example if you bid 10 dollars on an item, your already on the hook for 15.10when fees are included, over 33 percent of the bid price was not included in the actual bid, and while I know this, I believe many new customers do not. That also doesn't include the recently higher priced buyers assurance or membership. Then the website. Autobids will ensure you win nothing you want, but you need to use them because when the auctions start closing around 6pm the app will completely stop loading or working altogether. It's not the phone, it's everyone trying to log on all at once, making it unbearable to use, and even if it does work you'll find yourself reloading and closing it constantly, which just makes it harder to shop on. The Last chance deals at this locations are also NEVER on time anymore, and it's absolutely first come first serve so have fun staring at a blank screen until whoever runs it fixes it at a different time every night. Lastly, YINZ BINS. The mystery boxes, confirmed by the employees, are trash that didn't sell the week before. We made that mistake a few times before complaining and finding out. Any sort of collectibles, Valuables, electronics etc. are already taken by the employees, who regularly have piles of items they separated under the checkout table or even on top of it like an advertisment. The one girl at the front actively takes first pick at any pop figures, and even tried to convince my girlfriend to give or sell hers to her before we could purchase it. I don't think the employees shouldn't be allowed to shop, but taking first dibs before they even allow customers and then flaunting is quite annoying. Anyways, like I said you can absolutely find great deals here, and if you broke your thousand dollar item at home, or just want a new one, just buy another with buyers premium and swap it out. Its obvious the locals do, as everything's usually broken anyways, and I'm sure it's because most people realize you can do this and only lose the 7 bucks for the buyer assurance. If you need evidence of this, when you go in, start looking at how many yellow stickers overlap each other with different lot numbers. It usually tells you how many times they've tried to pass it off before. Don't bring you're little ones. Hygiene here lacks and it's very much a warehouse...
Read moreMy husband bet on a fishing pole. It said that EVERYTHING was in the box. Turns out, we didn’t get the rod. We did return it, & was able to get our money back. BUUUT. This is what I have to say about M@C Bid. My husband bet on an electric skateboard for $300!!! This skateboard is supposed to come with the Board itself ( obviously ) , a charger, the remote, & the tool ( to re-measure the trucks to your recommended type ). We Went to go pick it up, didn’t have any issues with that. Only thing was, the issues with the order itself AFTER arriving.
1.) We opened the box in the parking lot. We realized that it was dirty & that it had gum all on one of the wheels! So nasty!
2.) We tried to turn it on, and it wouldn’t. The remote would, but not the skateboard. The item did not come with a charger ( which M@C Bid should have said it didn’t ), so we just thought it was dead, which we was very wrong in that scenario.
3.) So, we tried to return it & the guy that was at the door was so rude saying “we are closing the doors” when it would only take a minute to do a refund.
4.) We spent all day looking for a 346WH 12V charger for the skateboard ( we officially found one at Best Buy, such a good place to buy from!! ). We took the skateboard home with us, and decided to NOT CLEAN it nor throw away the box, so we plugged it in. It finally turnt on when it was plugged in. The remote said FULLY charged, & the remote ALSO exclaimed that the BOARD was FULLY CHARGED which we thought was strange because it wouldn’t turn on back at the building. BUT, when we UN-plugged it, it wouldn’t even turn back on. Tried multiple times but nothing. Yet again, only the remote would work, not the board.
I do not believe that M@C bid checks their products when they arrive at the building. They never leave an explanation on the product if it’s missing something, or dirty. It’s wrong to NOT look or check your items to see if it works, to see if it’s in shape, or to see if it is even the right product because there has been sooooo many complaints of people betting on an item, go to pick it up & it’s not even that item!! I personally believe that M@C Bid SHOULD check every box that enters that building, & should NOT sell Opened box items, or damaged items. This is a shame …. M@C bid needs to do better, or something will be reported to the higher ups ‼️‼️
M@C Bid, I do not want you to reply with your “ this is our terms of conditions, this is our opened box conditions, nada nada. Stop replying that to everyone who has a complaint. Learn how to run a company and actually RESPECTFULLY respond to your customers. If you do not know how to respond to a complaint towards your company, get a new recruiter. It is NOT our fault that your part of the company is too worried about money , and is too lazy to check the products instead of actually worrying about your customers happiness. Your side of the barren needs to start doing that. Get up, do a better job, make your company better, or find PROFESSIONALS to run your side of the...

I had an extremely unsatisfactory experience with this company. I purchased an item described as “open box,” only to discover it was clearly damaged—a significant difference that they conveniently fail to mention. “Open box” should mean slightly used or missing packaging, not something that looks like it’s been through a war.
Additionally, the customer service was beyond disappointing. I had to drive a long distance only to find that the item was not as described, and when I tried to resolve the issue, I was met with nothing but excuses and a dismissive attitude. They hide behind vague policies and offer no real solution, other than telling me to inspect the items beforehand—which is hardly practical given the store’s locations.
To make matters worse, the way I was treated during the transaction was completely unprofessional and made me feel discriminated against. Although they claim not to be racist, the way they handled the ID check process was discriminatory and excessively invasive. It’s one thing to follow procedures, but their attitude went far beyond that. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable.
UPDATE AFTER REPLY: I am extremely disappointed with your lack of responsibility in this matter. Your explanation of your contract terms in no way justifies the poor job done. All that was needed was to acknowledge that you made a mistake this time, but instead, you’re avoiding responsibility by hiding behind your policies. Good customer service could have resolved situations like this, where an item labeled as “open box” was delivered completely destroyed, not just scratched as advertised.
Additionally, I must point out that the treatment I received was unacceptable. Having to go through three verifications of my ID and credit cards by three different people made me feel discriminated against. This is not standard procedure in any establishment, and I felt...
