I first met Dale Johnson (Assistant Manager) a year ago. I went in there to search for a sectional couch. He was very friendly and professional. The guy knew his stuff. After spending about 2 hour's with me I departed and did not make a purchase, intent on viewing other option's. Today, about 1 year later, I went back. Walked in and immediately requested that he be the one to assist me due to the outstanding impression he left on me from our prior encounter. He showed me an amazing quality sectional couch, and helped me work through the dimensions required to have it fit in the space I had set aside. I wandered and came upon a dining set that I was also interested in, as well as an end table. He worked a deal with me on all the stuff, dropping the prices below what their sticker price's were. sadly I could not get "free delivery" out of him this time around.
I wound up paying $2266.00 for the sectional, online price 1794.42 ~$471.58 more $1179.00 for the kitchen table and chair's, online price $894 ~$285 more $269.00 for the couchside table, online price $165.99 ~$103.01 more Granted online is still having their "president's day" sale.
All in all I paid $859.59 more than I could have had I bought the furniture online. The difference is I could see, and feel the product's in person before making a decision. The sales person was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and patient. He brought consideration's to my attention that I wasn't even aware of. Did I get ripped off? Or did I pay for the experience and insight I was offered? I was happy enough with the service provided that I was willing to "pad the coffers" a little bit. They do have more overhead than a website does. When you guy's are making your purchases, ask for Dale, and research the product's. Getting it for below sticker price may not necessarily be the best deal you can get.

Read moreFiancé and I were shopping for furniture for our first place together-- we got an apartment that compromises living room space for larger bedrooms. Upon entering we were greeted by a lady with a thick accent who was very nice, but I told her we just wanted to browse. When we walked to the sofas, she followed and wanted to rattle off about them, which I understand from a sales perspective, but even after telling her we had a small living room that wouldn't fit a sectional, she kept trying to upsell us on a 4k sectional. I kept telling her I just wanted to look and she insisted on tailing us to show us the most expensive items which was extremely frustrating. We weren't being given the opportunity to see things and formulate our own opinions on them without her in our ears, and my fiancé finally cut her off very abruptly because I was going to snap out on her. After she finally let us be, she just kept staring at us from a distance and would continuously pop up during our browsing, and despite finding a couple things we liked, we ended up going to Ashley's that day and getting $3k in furniture there instead. Overall it was an extremely uncomfortable experience that I didn't want to repeat by returning to place an order after quote shopping other stores. Another thing worth mentioning was how run down the new location looks. When it was in the mall it was beautiful, but now it's situated in an old Kmart with dirty flooring covered in duct tape, no real presentation/theme to the furniture, stuff feels thrown all over the place, poor selection, recliners overturned (???) and mixed with harsh fluorescent lighting, it looks like a serial killer's den.

Read moreI recently purchased a Lounge sofa and love seat and they are sooo comfortable. I had a great experience, sales lady was nice. I probably surprised her when my sister April Jackson and I picked out what I wanted fairly fast. But I had already checked out the website plus being in pain didn't help. I said I be back and I was. The delivery guys Paul Zitney and Matt were Awesome! I guess it didn't hurt that Paul and I went to high school together! OMG did I have a blast with those two! Very professional and courteous. Made me laugh and smile the whole entire time! I forgot they were delivering furniture! They made sure everything worked. I had a great experience buying furniture.
