My husband dropped his bike off a little over two weeks ago, he was told the problem could be fixed but was never given a time period (mind you the bike was running when he dropped it off). They NEVER called my husband to give him any sort of updates. Two weeks went by when my husband called and was told his bike still hadn't been worked on yet. He asked if it could be put back together so it can be picked up and brought to another bike shop, he was told yes and that he would be contacted the next day when it was ready for pick up. The next day my husband waited till Noon with no phone call and decided to contact them, they told him it was ready. When we got to the shop his bike would not start, we hooked it up to my car to jump the battery- NOTHING! He was still required to pay $63 just for them to pull it apart and put it back together and now it doesn't run! Plus a few bolts were missing off of the plastics. When I went into the shop the man behind the counter was talking and laughing about my husband and the situation with his bike with 2 other customers and other workers in the store! SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I was disgusted with the lack of customer service skills this man had. He told me there was absolutely nothing they could do since my husband didnt want to wait "a couple of more days", I told him they already had it for 2 weeks and they never told him it would take this long. What if this was his only way of transportation?? The mechanic however was very understanding and explained to me what the problem could be in a very nice manner which I appreciated. My husband will never bring his bike back there again and he will make sure he lets all his biker friends know about...
Read moreThey came recommended from a few friends who own Triumphs and they have used them for warranty work. I took my bike to them back in January 2021, called ahead to be sure that they could fit me in and help me. At that time they said it would take two weeks. I live 75 miles away, and my bike was running good when it was delivered to them. My bike needed a new battery, oil change and replacement on the 12v socket. I called them three weeks after they received the bike and was told next couple weeks, called again after another three weeks and was told again it would take another few weeks. I called again two weeks later and they had finally completed the work after having my bike for eight weeks, they never called me to let me know. They charged me over $250 for the service. Allegedly after they had done the service and while they had the bike the starter clutch failed and I was told the repair would cost more than the bike is worth. Their suggestion was to junk it, or pay $2500 plus parts for the repair. I towed my bike home. As soon as the parts come I am taking my Trophy to a great dealership Sarasota, although they are no longer a triumph dealer, I trust them and their estimate on labor was more than 50% less than Motorcycle Enthusiast. I would not give Motorcycle Enthusiast your time or money, the owner/manager Dave lacks any customer service ability and folk’s personal information is laying all around his desk for anyone to see. The mechanic seems knowledgeable, but I am not confident in their abilities. I am all about people making an honest wage for an honest living, but this has left me thinking these guys are not...
Read moreI had such a great experience with Cody (salesman) and Dave (owner) at Motorcycle Enthusiasts! I was in the market for the new 2020 Triumph Boneville Bobber-Ironstone color. I had recently tried dealing with another company out of Orlando and after 4 days I still had no answers or deal. I knew exactly what I wanted and didn’t need any explanation or sales pitch on the bike. I called and spoke to Cody on Monday (mind you during the pandemic) and asked if I could basically purchase the bike I wanted by email/phone and pick up by Wednesday. With 30 minutes, one phone conversation and a few emails back and forth we had a deal! I had personal contact, text and updates with Cody about the bike the entire day Tuesday. It would be getting serviced and programmed. Ready to pick up today (Wed). As we walk in Cody greats us. We get straight to the point, go over the paper work and looked around a bit. I had requested the seat to be adjusted before I got there and after I sat on it I realized I needed it readjusted. Within 10 mins the service department had it done! Wow! They were great! They have a great selection of Triumph apparel and accessories. I was going to purchase a shirt that I really liked, but Dave graciously threw it in with the bike! With such a short time dealing with this shop, our experience was amazing! Cannot thank all of them enough! From beginning to end our experience it was better than expected. And most of all the bike is perfect! Rode it home 70 miles. Exactly...
