Got a sweet little haul. Staff were nice, but you could tell some of them were tired which I understand from working in retail for years. Like most of the Goodwills across the country they have the same old junk that no one wanted at Target or Walmart. I think I got lucky as it was a Monday and all I heard was the drop off bell going off lol. They also had these crazy beer steins from WoW too, but they were priced out of my brother's and I budget; I know my brother would like to get them so if they're still they're in the next month I'm sure he'll be getting them.

I realized over Thanksgiving and Christmas that I did not have any serving dishes. Today I went into Goodwill in Spring Hill Florida, finding everything I needed and a few other little trinkets. The checkout person was extremely careful and cautious and packaged and wrapped all of my items so carefully and placed them gently in the bag so they would not get damaged. Her care was extremely appreciated. I do wish the customers were a little bit more respectful within the store but I'm not evaluating them today.

Place is always clean and lots to chose from. I am a little surprised at how much they raised their prices after the new year. Some of the shirts you can find at walmart cheaper and they aren't used! Staff is awesome tho and always helpful.

I want to congratulate this Goodwill for doing something so simple, and yet so rarely done in the other goodwill stores. I bought some records there, and instead of huge price labels stuck on the album jackets, they had a handy piece of paper at the register with different price labels on it, appropriately marked. The employee scanned the 'albums' price label and entered the number of albums I had. Done!! They get the ease and quickness of the scanner price label, and I get my purchases in a NOT RUINED condition. I have noticed in recent years (with horror) these price labels being attached to albums, book covers and other items that will be damaged if the purchaser tries to remove them later. I once called out a goodwill store manager over some 45 rpm records that had these price stickers plastered onto the record labels. I told the manager if you can remove the stickers without damaging the record label, I'll buy them. They couldn't. I left empty handed. I've lost count of the times I've told Goodwill employees that sticky and paper don't mix well. Kudos to this store! They have (1) saved money, 'cause those labels aren't free (2) saved time and effort, as they don't have to waste time labeling every bit of media on sale, AND (3) helped their customers to be happy with their purchase, instead of annoyed. I challenge the management of this store to share my review with their bosses! And their bosses with their bosses, and so forth and on up the ladder! Let's get this simple, but oh-so-smart method in practice at EVERY goodwill store in...

I deleted my previous post. But I've decided to update everyone as to goodwill. I will say that the lady who is the manager of the Goodwill store in Spring Hill is very kind and very gracious to her customers. The biggest problem is for that store and many other Goodwill stores is that their prices have become retail in the past 3 days I have going around shopping different stores from Ross to Marshalls to TJ Maxx JCPenney and I have found that I was able to buy five brand new shirts at TJ Maxx in Inverness Florida four pairs of pants in Marshalls Brooksville for less than what I could buy them for at Goodwill this does not make any sense to me as everything is donated to Goodwill and I know because I've donated a lot of things these items are free and yes I know that they have overhead but it is absolutely ridiculous when you can shop Ross TJ Maxx JCPenney Marshalls and you will get a better deal I'm not I'm not sure if I will continue to donate anything back to Goodwill as there are enough homeless people running around the streets just were I travel where I could leave bags of clothes and these people could just take them for free I believe that Goodwill has become far too greedy and it is just sad so word to the wise shop around now because Goodwill is no longer Goodwill and again it is not the fault of the manager...

Being fully disgusted by the Lady lake store in Marion County with ultra high prices..I want to see if anything is different here. However from the reviews..its the same old story. It's been reported from various YT podcasts that GW gets most items from donations and some from retail stores paying for bulk discontinued items. For that reason , GW must feel it has a Target or Walmart Marquis on its buildings. They have there own website where the Premium items are posted... Check it out. Not to mention the showcases in each store and behind it and displaying more premium items on the wall. Then they leave the rest of expensive crumbs out for us hungry birds to pick from. For example worn out dirty shoes for $10-$25 or more. Faded used shirts for $8 and up. Some used kitchen appliances and various electronics are just 20% lower than new...obviously with NO warranty. There are countless of YouTube postcasts that tell the same story around the Country, so it's not just us.. our eyes don't lie. Some are even calling for a GW boycott. It's a fact that there CEO is worth $23 million and the upper level Management positions make 300k and up per year. Remember that.. when they ask you to...
