I stay at Marriott on a regular basis, it is my first choice of hotels but normally stay at Residence inn or higher property. I had 3 other colleagues staying at Courtyard and I renting vehicle so decided to stay where they stayed. From my first 30 minutes in my room, my internet on my phone wouldn't work and I asked to be moved to higher floor was advised hotel was full. I understand, so I asked to be moved the next day, was told to check with desk in the am. I packed my stuff in my suitcase and inquired on my way out Tuesday am, was told no problem we will move you. I got back Tuesday night, hadn't been moved. You can't tell me no one checked out during that day. So I did the same Wednesday am, Wednesday night when I got back was told it was too late to move me, it was 9.30pm. When I asked why I wasn't moved during the day as agreed to, no response. Line up in hotel for "complimentary" breakfast with a coupon on Tuesday was 20 people long. So I gave my colleague coupon asked him to get me large black coffee and got a small coffee, that is all they could provide with coupon. I had no food, really it is price of cup of coffee vs. breakfast sandwich? No rationale here. At most Marriott properties there is coffee available 24 hours a day on self serve. Not here. I have my own travel cup for this very reason. Wednesday am the lady working breakfast had some help, and I got large coffee and apology for previous day. Thursday line up was all the way across the lobby, we skipped hotel and got coffee at the office. The walls ceiling are very thin, and the person above me got up at 3.30am until he checked out on Thursday so if he was up, you could hear his/her every move, loud enough you couldn't sleep thru it. Email to hotel Manager,...

We have stayed here in previous years with few issues, but not this time.

The bed was supposed to be a king, but it wasvery short. We reserved a room with a tub, but had to go downstairs and get the room switched (which the very nice woman at the front desk had difficulty doing). Switched us to a handicap room (where the short bed is), and we went to eat. Came back and the room keys wouldn't open the door. Went downstairs 3 times before they determined that the lock on the door had a dead battery. She couldnt get ahold of maintenance (they wouldn't answer), so she had to call her manager, who, after a long period of time, gave her instructions on how to open our door just once (she also tried to go in through the adjoining room, but the door was locked). My fiance was in pain and needed to rest,, but we couldn't get in the room.. it took about an hour. We were told we wouldn't be able to leave the room again until maintenance came in the morning to fix. She offered to change the room, but couldn't guarantee the room would have a tub (which we need for my fiance to soak in because back and neck surgeries). Maintenance came around 9:40 am. Then I had to go downstairs to get keys because they took ours the night before so we had no way to get back in our room if we left. The guy at the front desk was not very nice.. barely acknowledged me (wouldn't even make eye contact or look at me) but gave me the keys after asking for the second one again--he only spoke 4 words-- "room number" and "last name". The bed was very uncomfortable, also (short, and my fiance is 6'1", and has had multiple back surgeries, but also it was too firm). We stayed 2 nights, but I don't think we will return to...

I stayed here for a work training nearby for HPE Enterprise location for Aruba Atmosphere event. I'm giving this hotel 2 stars because of the service was not great. First thing that happened I requested in the notes to reserve a room on the first floor. Mind you I booked this hotel 30-60 days way in advance. When I confirmed my check-in the day of my arrival I saw that they put me on the 4th floor also for 2 queen double beds which I was supposed to be in a king suite room. I spoke to someone name of Angela and She told me it wasn't a problem and they would move me to the first floor.

Once my arrival the gentleman at the front desk had no idea what I was talking about and I still was booked for a room on the 4th floor, he had to call his Supervisor to switch me to another room then I found out it was a handicap room where there was no mention of that either. I'm a Marriot rewards member and feel like no one pays attention to the small details and something always happens it's not like I asked for a room upgrade just like to be on the first floor for ease of access since I always have work equipment with me during my business travels.

Another incident that happened the gentleman told me breakfast is complimentary if your with a company (I found out this isn't true unless you booked it with your company's travel site). There was different times I needed to ask a question, but no one is ever at the front desk you have to wait awhile for anyone to assist you. This experience made me not want to book a Marriot hotel again. I don't recommend staying here, there is a lot of other better options...

I stayed here for 1 night for business in June in a 1 Executive King Room. During check-in, I asked for non-connecting room, but was given a connecting room next to the elevator. Not sure whether if all all their executive king rooms are connecting rooms. The room did get noisy from the neighboring room, though it did get quiet late in the evening, but it was a bit distracting while trying to do work. The desk is moving and I'm glad as it was placed where the air conditioning blows directly towards (The interior designer should get fired!). The bed was comfy, but was missing a headboard. Not sure if it was a pandemic thing or these rooms just don't have headboards. Bathroom was clean and spacious. However, they are still using shared bottled shampoo, conditioner, and soap while other places have gone back to small individual sizes during the pandemic. There is a gas station and CVS next door and a 2min drive to a plaza with a few restaurants and Krogers. Overall, I was a bit disappointed paying a premium for a larger room. I think I would have a more enjoyable stay if I just booked a regular 1 king room, which had a better chance of getting a non-connecting room.

Stayed here for 3 nights waiting for permanent housing to be ready. Very nice room, though it was a tad small...there is no kitchenette in these rooms. However, there was still a couch and ottoman in a quaint sitting area between the foot of the bed and the window. It had ample lighting, comfortable bed and pillows, and a spa like rain shower big enough for two.. which was really nice. And it still had a desk, a big screen flat tv, mini refrigerator, microwave and one cup coffee pot. Extremely clean and luxurious room for the price and would definitely stay here again. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the pool wasn't as clean as it should have been. There were chunks of hair weave extensions floating about the pool. Other than that one aspect which missed their attention, everything else was clean and way above standard. Also, there is a 24 hour gym, self service laundry and lots of well maintained patio furniture about the back pool area, with a cool round outdoor fireplace to hang out at night to talk or star gaze. Very relaxing and enjoyed my stay.

I’m a Lifetime Platinum Elite member because I spend way too much time in hotels. That said, when I walked into this hotel the only person in the lobby was the person behind the desk. He was staring at his cell phone. I stopped and waited. And waited. I awkwardly looked around the lobby waiting. About 4 minutes went by and he put his phone down and said ‘name’. I gave him my name and he did his thing and then he handed me a key and said elevators are over there. That was it? Nothing else was said. No greeting, no run down of the hotel etc. The next morning I walked down to the Lobby and had to buy coffee from the Starbucks there which was $5.40 for a large black coffee. The server there said two words to me. I delt with two other staff members there who hardly gave me the time of day. Everyone seemed bothered that I was at their hotel. This is poor management for sure. Or it could have been a race thing.
