Got coffee for my kids and it was good, but the experience was sub par. I stopped by after picking up an HEB order. They're always crazy busy and this time it didn't look so bad so I stopped in. Before a menu was even visible to me, someone walked up to take my order. She asked what she could get me and I explained it was my first time so I wasn't sure. All she said was "ok." No suggestions or trying to help out by asking what I normally like. The girl seemed to have zero personality. She had a very flat tone like she wasn't really interested in being there or taking my order. It seemed like i was holding her up so I basically just ordered the first thing I saw on the website. The wait was way too long for the size of the line too. I definitely won't return to this location and I guess I'll study the menu online before I try any others EDITING TO ADD: I asked for the Picture Perfect and the girl told me that's not a flavor. She said It's just a drizzle of caramel and chocolate you can add to a drink and explained "like you can order a Golden Eagle picture perfect and the golden eagle will come with drizzles" If it's not a flavor then why is it in the menu as such? And the nutrition facts point towards it being a drink flavor Dutch Brothers, as a whole, needs to change their ordering procedures. And offer in app/mobile ordering. Now if the barista didn't know the ingredients to the drink then she should've said something. When I got the drink it looked similar to the kicker I had purchased also. I pulled off without drinking it being considerate of the person behind me and had to turn back to get in line. The barista I previously ordered from is now in the line taking orders. The barista noticed I returned back in line which I told her this isn't what I ordered and asked what were the ingredients used to make the drink. The barista became argumentative then told me what was put in the drink which wasn't the ingredients for the Horchata Chai. The barista said the double shot of espresso dumbed down the sweetness of the drink. I know I was at the wrong location with the attitude I was encountering so I asked for a Blended Golden Eagle Chai with the extra caramel sauce in the cup and on top. I brought this to the intention of the employees and they basically laughed me off
They didn't take me serious whatsoever and I was very clear in the fact that I ate no breakfast no lunch and had no other meals except for that coffee which is my normal routine
I said one of the ingredients in that is bad I don't know which one it is but you need to find out and they didn't seem to care at all
This is hugely concerning for the health of people going to the store because if I can't trust you to even give a crap about whether or not your food is contaminated then I can never come here again and you don't deserve more than a one-star review
I am forced right now to call a city health inspector to come take a look now because they won't take the seriously and I have been sick and lost weight and haven't been able to eat for 2 days
