Please take your time to read this, for your own good. I was absolutely traumatised by the absolute neglect of care for paying guests. The first thing we see as we arrive; a group of 15-20 drunken guests blocking the drop-off area. As I open my car door to check in, a young man jerks my door away and asks me if I am an Uber driver, I said no, and he walks away. As I check in, I leave my two teenage children in the car, my daughter was already frightened of what she had seen so far, she told me. I get back to my car and park in an adjacent lot, as we carry our luggage through the front doors we get eery looks. Don't let the lobby deceive you, it is clean, as you may see in the pictures, but the singular employee we saw the entire time, had no uniform and had exposed tattoos, although he seemed like a nice, youthful fellow. The worst thing that we experienced happened next, as we walk into the room that he assigned us (108 I believe), the sheets and comforter are ripped off of the bed and strown throughout the the room. As me and my kids turn around to walk out we are frightened and mortified by what we see. There are bloody towels, blood in the sink, on the floor and walls, and usually, when blood is in any way associated with hotels, you assume the absolute worst. We are quickly out of the room and down the corridor to the lobby, I tell the man "working" at the front desk what we have just witnessed. He apologizes and seems disappointed in himself or his seemingly nonexistent staff. My daughter has been nagging at me to leave, but I decide to give this place another chance. We receive our second room key and make the trip down to our new room (room 117). I tell my kids to wait outside the room while I scan it for anything terrible like the first room. Upon first glance, the room is fairly average, other than an open window (we were on the first floor), so I invite the kids in, feeling confident in this one, but my son starts double-checking the room, within ten seconds, my son peels back one corner of the blanket, and there are brown and red stains on the sheets, so we gathered our things and were ready to leave, once and for all, when we come across the employee, that has been spoken of twice before, on his way to check on the first room we complained about. He says something like "Oh, is there something wrong with that room too" I say yes and tell him all about it. He goes to check on the bed and pulls away the remainder of the blanket, and there are bloodstains covering the bed. We go back to reception and somehow, get a refund. We leave Cincinatti at 11pm and got home at 2am. This place ruined our family vacation. I have never seen something more disgusting in my life. This review is nothing other than warning, which this place has no...
Read moreHORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM EVERYONE, INCLUDING BOB THE GENERAL MANAGER AND FERHAD THE FRONT DESK MANAGER So I wasn’t going to write a bad review, I was just going to speak to the manger but every time I call, the manger seems to not be in. I had a reservation for the 22nd. Unfortunately I had a death in my family and was not able to make that reservation, I called the hotel that same day and spoke to someone at the front desk who said to call back and speak to the manger and something could be worked out. So I called back, the next day the lady who I spoke to was so rude and said she wouldn’t write down the message for the manger that I had called two days in a row and needed this issue resolved. She hung up on me twice. I called back the third day, again the manager was not in, I asked the guy to write down that message about my issue and he said he would. I called back again each day only to hear the manager isn’t in and that no one could help with my issue. So today I called back again the front desk person said that the manager would be in from 11-3. I called at 2 and asked to speak to the manager ferhad, said no he’ll be in at 3 I said okay can you help me since you are the front desk manager, he hung up on me. I called back again and before I even said anything, he hung up. Then I called back a third time, he picks up the phone and again before I say anything he says, I can’t help you with your issue you would have to talk to bob. And I say okay well instead of hanging up on me why didn’t you just say that in the first place. Idk who is in charge over there but you need new employees. There is absolutely no way that your hotel customer service should be this bad. And for me to be hung up on by 2 different people on 5 different occasions is ridiculous. I want a full refund, and I will be putting in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau You guys do not need to be in business any longer. So to add, I called again at 3 to speak to the manager and again he wasn’t in. Some rude white girl. Says that she gave him my information which is unlikely because I haven’t given anyone there my information because they wouldn’t take it. So she lied then I caught her in the lie now she gets mad. And hangs up so I keep calling back. I’m in contact with Priceline for my full refund And I am now on the phone with the Better Business Bureau DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL NEED TO BE...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars, I would. As others have stated, I was not expecting anything but a clean and safe room. This met neither.
When you walk into the lobby, you instantly smell mold. This smell only grows worse as you head down the hall to your room. You understand why they have dehumidifiers lining the halls. Once in the room, the smell of smoke overtakes you. I understand that you can't stop smoking, but you can deter them by making sure the smoke detectors work. Which they do not. The sheets had black stains on them. The bath towles had cigarette holes in them. The shower walls and tub had years of dirt caked on them. This would be as simple as a magic eraser. I felt dirtier after my shower.
Safety wise, as stated above, the smoke alarms did not work in my room. But this is just the start. There are electrical outlets with no outlet in them, just a nice big hole for kids to stick their hands in. Holes have been kicked in the bathroom walls. However, the creme de la creme is the fact that I got a ground floor room where the window will not shut completely and has no way to lock. Just open to the world, and it snowed while I was here. I tried to use the phone to call the front desk. While there is a phone, the phone does not have a plug. So, if there is a fire, at least I can jump out the open window, I guess.
I called the front desk on my cell phone and got put on hold for 10 minutes. When I got tired of waiting, I walked to the front desk to find the employee watching TV with her feet kicked up. My phone call was still sitting on hold next to her.
The room was 2 double beds. Both had twin sheets. I had 2 pillows and 2 bath towels with cigarette holes. It also came with a single cup coffee maker but no coffee or cups. When I went to the service desk to ask for more pillows, towels, and coffee, I was told this isn't something they did. "You get what you got" is what I was told. She glared at me till I left.
FLAT pillows. No pool as advertised. I even called prior to booking and was told the indoor pool was open. No refund policy. Horrid parking. Rude staff.
I could have stayed at a campground and had a better experience in the snow.
I see they reply to almost all comments, but it's clear they don't actually care to make...
