iSense Springfield — Hotel in Springfield

The iSense mattress comfort, gets a 5 star rating. Very comfortable. However, we were surprised by the very tall bed surface that results from stacking the overly thick iSense mattress on top of the adjustable mattress mechanism that is in turn on top of an under bed drawer bed frame. Also, the split king mattress design (which allows the left and right head panels of the mattress to be individually adjustable, while the foot of the mattress is a single solid piece) results in two problems that I wish I had been better informed: 1) There are VERY FEW companies that sell bed sheets for split king mattresses - where the fitted bottom has to have 6 elastic corners (4 on the top, two at the foot) to fit the split king mattress design. 2) It is VERY DIFFICULT to change the fitted bottom bed sheet on the split king mattress - starting with the weekly "puzzle" of figuring out which elastic corners go on top versus on the bottom of the mattress. And, once that's figured out, squishing through the crease between the two head panels of the split king mattress (this usually requires raising at least one head panel of the mattress and then climbing to the middle of the mattress to reach the middle to fit the sheet through the crease. And the REALLY annoying aspect is that the iSense warranty that allows for exachanging mattresses if unsatisfactory does not make sense because we'd be stuck with expensive sheet sets custom to only split...

I first owned the sleep number and years later it was time for a new one. They were just to expensive so I decided on the personal comfort, it was nice. Then after years I felt time for a new air bed but Sleep number was still to much and I didn't care for the personal comfort after looking at their website. I came across the isense website and liked what I saw. Then I noticed they had a store in Springfield Mo and I was going that one in a month so I talked with them online and I went to the store. It took my wife 10min and she was sold. They came a few weeks later set the bed up and its been amazing ever since! The bed is both traditional and air chambers so the best of both worlds! We are thrilled with our iSense mattress and base and the excellent customer service we have experienced upon buying our new bed. The only reason for a four rating is that the health sense app is not very usable or accurate. Would love to see that change, but it really doesn’t affect how our sleeping has improved.
