I stayed here for two months. The traffic (at any time of the day) is HORRIBLE! the absolute worst I've ever experienced and I've been in Houston for 7 yrs. The laundry is overpriced for the size washers they offer BUT they are new washers and well maintained as far as cleaning them. The showers are great! HOWEVER, there is just One BIG issue and I can't believe no one has ever mentioned this before but whatever.....so they give you a business card at the end of registering for your stay and they have a stack sitting on the counter, in the office, for anyone to take if they want or need one. Well, the men's and women's shower/restrooms require a code be entered on a keypad in order to unlock the doors......I assume this is for safety and the thought is wonderful; however, the codes are hard printed on the business cards.......the business cards that everyone receives and anyone visiting may obtain. Great! the door requires a security code so not just anyone can enter....ONLY anyone can b/c everyone has access to the codes. I always used the showers at night, but the housekeeper shuts the bathrooms down from 9p-10p every night. So, if I wanted to use the showers i made sure to go around 8-830p that way if I was murdered someone would be find me within the hour. #justSayin The customer service I've always received from their corporate office, Quality Resorts, has always been amazing. I will most likely initiate a long term stay at a different Quality Resorts location soon. But the traffic at Hwy 6 & Westpark Tollway keeps me from ever staying at this particular location again :( thus the reason for 4 stars not 5. I realize Quality cannot "fix" traffic; however, it is a MAJOR pain in the .......and others should be warned. The amenities on the website are described perfectly, nothing is exaggerated. This location is super clean and despite my observation about the bathroom codes, it was very safe while I was there; during my 60 day stay there weren't any disturbances of any kind, not even medical.

Most wonderful campground probably ever! Dog friendly, kid friendly, family friendly, everyone friendly! You won’t even believe you are in Houston in this peaceful resort and you will never want to leave, we sure didn’t want to! All the staff and other campers are so kind, friendly, and welcoming. The pond and grounds are incredibly well maintained. They are great about enforcing speed limit and other safety rules we felt very comfortable walking around and enjoying ourselves with all our small kids. Really nice clubhouse with spacious computer room and fun games! Showers are great! Pool was wonderful! The dog wash and dog run area were wonderful, so helpful for us as dog owners! Such a great location, close to grocery stores, shopping, parks and downtown but a really quiet area off a really quiet nice street. There is no where better to stay in Houston, highly recommend!

Our experience with Quality RV Resort was outstanding....!!! This was our first time renting a cabin while waiting to buy a Camper Trailer. We communicated effectively with Misty, in person and by phone. If she was unsure about a question or concern we had, ...... she would address the matter with Mark for resolution. They are a great management team who gives exceptional quality customer service. This property is safe & welcoming to it's guests. There is something for everyone here. This camping trip was a fantastic experience, and met a new friend along the way. Will go back to visit one day soon. We are very pleased to give 5 stars.....:) 3043 Waukegan RD Conroe, TX 77306

RATING SHOULD REALLY BE A NEGATIVE 5 STAR!!!

This is our experience living there for 4 1/2 years. BEWARE!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! THE OWNER THANKED ME FOR THIS 1 STAR REVIEW, LOLOL! APPARENTLY THEY CANNOT READ! I ONLY THANKED HOUSEKEEPING STAFF, LISA AND SARA!!!

Year#1: Very very nice! Clean! Great amenities! Friendly staff Steve and Rhonda. Love it! This is our first permanent RV home. Love tiny living! They drained the lake however the lake looks great again! Water fowl are coming back and they are beautiful! 3 years later and I miss Steve and Robert. Management is mostly great but over the last year a few staff not working here from the heart...their personal lives should not be told to campers. Keep the Resort a Resort!!! 4 years later, they are not wildlife friendly anymore. Steve was very good friends with the Egyptian Geese and feed them at the office when we first decided this would be our home. The Averary is right across the street. They put decoy swans by the office to keep wildlife away. I miss the days of families, fishing, catching turtles to teach their young children, even the elderly who come with grandkids to teach them about wildlife. It is very sad. There used to be a lot of people out taking photos and videos of the wildlife. They got rid of most of the wildlife. Nothing to photograph. So so sad!

Also, management do not make rounds anymore to pick up trash or just make themselves known. They also need lessons in hospitality!!!

Here is the meaning of HOSPITALITY. THIS SHOULD BE #1 AT THE RESORT! hos·pi·tal·i·ty

/ˌhäspəˈtalədē/

the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.

We still miss Steve and Robert!!! They loved this Resort and the wildlife. They also knew the meaning of HOSPITALITY!

*Sadly we cannot recommend this so called Resort any longer. We are out!!! And it is due to poor poor management. Rhonda and Ron!!! They have zero hospitality and zero compassion! You need to replace them!!! They spend more time watching people, Rhonda smoking and Ron staring and yelling at me from across the lake.

In the beginning when we drove in it felt like we were semi retired/on vacation/peace. Now that is all gone. This place is more like a bootcamp. We've felt watched, were watched, as well as other long term guests, for the last two years. They constantly pick at little stuff. Seriously, it's like bootcamp. They do not like people out and about. So if you like just hanging out in your RV/not outside, you might like this place. So sad you can't enjoy a so called Resort!

There are far better places available for a far better price. And the staff are amazingly friendly and they are really a Resort! It's a breath of fresh air to have found better options out there!

Quality is buying up a lot other places so BEWARE! If they say Quality you will not get Quality anymore!

We want to give 5 Stars to house keeping staff Lisa and Sarah! You two have always been so sweet and kind! Thank you!!!

Steve and Robert managed the place correctly and kindly!!! We still thank them for our first two years of living here. They did things right!!!

Rhonda and Ron need to be replaced Owners!!! This is now the ghetto! Read all the 1 star reviews families before renting here!!!

Goodbye Highway 6 and praying for the friends we've made still there that are not...

My vehicle was recently (11/18/2017) damage at this RV Resort by their landscaping crew. I have requested that I receive the contractors phone no in order to report the damage to my vehicle; since The RV Resort (Highway 6 RV Resort) is not taking or acknowledging any responsibility for the damage. Even though they’re in their Property with the Resorts consent. It has been 5 days since this occurred and all that I’ve been told is that “there was nothing the Resort could do for me.” My expectations of a “Quality RV Resort” are simply that, “Quality.” I was told to expect a phone call from the General Manager. I’ve yet to hear from him, but I don’t expect less. Since a few days ago I was also notified that as a resident my rent would increase 13% with only a weeks notice. I asked why the increase, and to provide me with their policy as to the process or merit for their increase. The GM (Steven Yates) said that they don’t have such a policy and that as private company they don’t have to provide me with anything. As a Sr. Accountant, and expert with working with Private and Public companies, ethics are so important. Full disclosure and transparency are some of the key factors that keep an economy and company successful. These should be some of the ingredients and backbone of a company. Your clientele is vital to your success. I’m truly disappointed of Quality RV Resorts. Initially when I looked at this Resort I accidentally called it an RV Park. Which I was corrected, that it was a Resort. I believe I was correct now when I called it an RV Park. This place lacks quality in its service and customer care. Today 11/22/2017 I received a letter of eviction for providing this review. I have been given 2 days to abandoned the premises. My wife and our three little furries were looking forward to spending the holiday weekend with our families, love ones since it’ll be my wife’s first year without her mom due to her passing away from cancer two months ago. I find it repulsive that Quality RV Resorts lacks the sensitivity to these...
