3530 Hey 6 south 77082 Okay my daughter along with another girl and a boy went came for interview at this very location the manager who ever she is set up an interview for all three of them at the same time she told all three well dressed decent intelligent teenagers to come for an interview today From 3:00pm- 5:00pm okay I dropped my daughter off @ 2:45 pm the other two teens were already there waiting for the manager One of the employees told them to sat down and wait when then manager finished eating she'll come and speak with them well the manager already saw all three African American kids all dressed up walking in So one of the inside went and told her that there are three teenagers waiting for her to be interviewed She said okay This lady whom she called herself the manager who set up the interview for all three of them at the same time sat down on the corner of the store on her laptop or whatever she was doing again saw all three teens wait for her this woman just got up looked at them walked past them with her laptop in her hand and left the store without saying hello or even saying anything to them so all three of the teenagers kept on sitting down their waiting till 4:25 I had to tell my daughter come on let's go the other girl had to called her mother I asked to speak to one of the manager on duty she come told us ALONG WITH US PARENTS that the manager COTE FORGOT ABOUT THEM THAT THEY SHOULD WRITE DOWN THEIR PHONE NUMBERS AGAIN SHE WOULD LET THE MANAGER KNOW ABOUT IT AND THAT THEY SHOULD COME BACK AGAIN ON FRIDAY AT 4PM MAYBE THE MANAGER WOULD BE THERE WHICH KIND OF PROFESSIONAL SKILLS IS THIS as a store manager you setup an interview for some one and you FORGOT THAT YOU HAD INTERVIEW WITH THEM NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGING THEM THAT THEY ARE IN THEIR FOR AN WHY WOULD A MANAGER DO THAT YOU IS IT RACISTIM OR PURE WICKEDNESS OR IS IT BECAUSE A THREE KIDS ARE AFRICAN AMERICAN AS A MOTHER I AM TOTALLY AND HIGHLY DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED ALL I CAN IS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWW AND DOUBLE WOOOOOOW WOOOOOOW THIS IS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL UNDIGNIFIED Whataburger on 3530 Hy 6 south 77082 across...
Read moreI spent many yrs in the fast food industry and consider myself fairly knowledgeable in the operations of these places. In my opinion this is the worst whataburger in the area. I love the product and must of them have great people working. I visited the counter and no one was there. A manager was closed by but didn’t acknowledged me. The cashier was counting his till with the back to the counter so he didn’t hear or see me. A lady went from the kitchen to the lobby to deliver food to a table and continued a conversation with another team member, made eye contact eye contact with me, ignored me and continued her conversation with the other employee. Drive thru was fairly busy. Remember I know these types of operations well. I could tell if they were busy or short handed, neither one in this case. At that moment I decided to timed how long it will take the mgr to acknowledge me since he is the one that can see me. After 3 minutes (which felt like an eternity) the guy said. Hello sir someone will be with you shortly. The guy is counting his till. Unfortunately the person counting the till was having some problems because I could hear his frustration and began the count two more times. Mr Mgr you don’t need to have the till in the register to take my order. You should’ve come to the front, enter my order in the system and let the kid collect the $ before you handle the food. But he felt too important to take an order. I waited another 2 minutes in front of Mr Mgr until I decided to leave. Again this is not the normal operating procedures of this chain. I know these types chain procedures fairly well as it was lead by great people who I worked with in the past. This was a total lack or performance from the leadership team at that time. It is not a lack of training. Whataburger provides excellent training and great product. In over 15 of experience in this industry I never experienced such a lack of care. Read moreOur visit to the Whataburger located in Highway 6 and Westpark was very disappointing. Erick, the manager, was extremely rude and unprofessional. When we wanted to change our order at the window, asking to have some ingredients removed from the burger, he claimed that this could not be done at the window and that we needed to drive across again and stand behind the line of cars in order to make our request at the menu section. My wife explained that she was a restaurant manager and had never heard of this before, at that time the subject in questions impolitely expressed that he was going to make an exception with us and allow us to make changes to our order at the counter window. When my wife’s sister commenced telling him what she did not want in the sandwich, he insolently interrupted her and told her not to tell him what she did not want, but to say instead what she actually wanted in the sandwich. By the time she was about to be done with her instructions, the supervisor interjected once more to rudely express that she needed to hurry up because he did not have too much time and we had been there already for over a minute. Needless to say, the order was incorrectly provided, on purpose perhaps. This type of insulting behavior is especially unacceptable from an establishment that prides itself in providing exemplary customer service. The conduct is furthermore deplorable since it comes from a member of management who is supposed to champion the company’s ideals in regards to client respect and respectful treatment. It is shameful that a respected company such as Whataburger would hire and promote a person such as the aforementioned individual who has a total lack of respect for customers and does not know how to treat human beings.
