Synergy Sweets — Restaurant in Tampa

After googling must try places near Tampa, Synergy Sweets popped up and we glanced at the menu and we were 100 percent willing to make the drive. So did it live up to the hype? 10 thousand percent yes!

We were greeted instantly and made to feel incredibly welcome in this adorable shop! The trophies where they have won Dessert Wars 3 times were displayed and everything was so cute!

We couldn't decide so we went a little overboard and got everything listed below and we will rate and review each one!

Red Velvet Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie- we got this warm and after bite 1 it was a 10/10! Absolutely delicious! Soft, warm, gooey... just delicious

Twix Cheesecake-158/10- absolutely without a doubt by far the best cheesecake I have ever tried in my entire life... THE BEST... it was perfection in every single way my goodness

Chocolate Overload Cupcake- 9/10 and the only reason why is I'm not a huge chocolate fan but this one was so good and not nearly as rich as you think it may be! Chocolate cupcake, chocolate icing and delicious chocolate lava on the inside! Sooo moist too!

Funfetti Cupcake- 10/10... instantly delicious, moist, full of so much flavor... soooo good!

Black Velvet Cupcake-10/10... so moist and the cream cheese frosting is not too "cream cheesy" or too buttercream like... what kind of magician is she???!!! DELICIOUS

Oreo Banana Pudding Cupcake- 9/10... it's banana muffin meets oreo and vanilla wafer bits...it is a match made in Heaven... there is a banana flavored drizzle on top that is so good!!!!

Red Velvet Oreo Cupcake-10/10...super moist and the frosting is delicious! It's light and the sweetness level is perfection!

Strawberry Crunch Cupcake- 18/10..this is the one I was most excited to try and it was probably the best dessert I have ever had in my life... once again so moist, the strawberry flavoring is perfect and then it hits you again with the strawberry crunch pieces on top...I cannot describe in words how perfect this one is!

Final thoughts-- you must come here! No matter how far you have to drive or walk or fly... you must! We will be back time and time again and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu items! Hands down the best dessert experience I have...

I have been stalking synergy sweet’s Instagram for a while and decided I wanted my baby shower’s cake to be from there . The cake went perfectly with my baby shower sunflower theme ! One tier of the cake was chocolate which actually tasted like chocolate cake and the other tier was vanilla with fruit. The cakes were moist and delicious and the buttercream icing went perfectly with the cake. I ordered another cake for my mother’s 65th birthday - strawberry cake with cheesecake. The design of the cake was beautiful and went with the theme I had in mind for my mother’s decorations. I also ordered red velvet and cheesecake for Christmas. The cake was moist and tasted like actual red velvet cake. I was excited when the bakery was open and I have had the pumpkin cupcakes, chocolate chip cookie and the espresso martini cheesecake. I appreciate that the bakery elicits feedback from their customers and actually listen. Synergy sweets asked about different flavours of cheesecake to make and I requested coffee and I finally got to taste the expresso martini which was a burst of coffee flavour with each bite in my mouth . The size of the cheesecake was perfect for me to get a taste during the whole week. The decor of the bakery is warm and inviting and goes perfectly with entering a blanket filled with delicious sweets. Everytime I go, the music makes me feel like I am in an episode of Bridgerton . My wife discovered Synergy Sweets after seeing the owner on Tampa Bay 10's Great Day Live Show. We have visited multiple times, and each time the desserts have been just as amazing. We've tried a variety of cheesecakes, cupcakes, brownies, and cookies, each with its own unique twist that is always a pleasant surprise. One of the coolest is the Red Velvet Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie, which has Red Velvet Cake inside the Chocolate Chip Cookie—my son's favorite! Located in the Horizon Park Shopping Center, right down the street from Raymond James Stadium, Synergy Sweets is worth the drive no matter where you stay. My wife and I drive from FishHawk (Lithia, FL), which is not close, but the desserts are so worth the trip.
