If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never been treated with such contempt and disrespect by management for having the audacity of requesting our room be cleaned.||When we arrived we pretty much dropped our stuff off and went to bed. My baby is a spitter so we grabbed a towel, but it was full of someone’s long brown hair. Gross, but not a problem. We grabbed another towel that I could lay on while my baby nursed at night. The next morning I went to go hop in the shower and there was someone’s body hair in the tub. We request service to come clean up the hair. Two women came with a rag and wiped it up. No Lysol. No disinfectant. Nothing. I honestly thought that they came in to assess how much cleaner they needed and kept waiting for them to come back. When I realized that was their version of cleaning I went to the front desk to request access to their cleaning supplies so that I could clean the tub to my standard. Doreen said that she would send her best cleaning lady in response. After half an hour of waiting we contacted the front desk to ask when she’d be by. Management got a little bit defensive and informed us that their best lady had already been by. We informed her that she hadn’t and that we were still waiting. In an honest mixup the lady went to clean the room right next to ours instead of our own room. No big deal. It was 10 by this point so I was already late to my family breakfast brunch (upsetting, but I told myself that we’ll see everyone at the wedding). While the lady was there she asked if we needed anything else so we asked if she could bring us more towels. It was a good thing we asked because half of the towels we were provided had other people’s hair in them. Most had long dark hair, there was one towel that had short black curly hair. We had not complained to management about the hair and I wish I had taken pictures.||We showered and got dressed. I fed my baby and he spat up a little bit on the bed just past the towel I had put on the bed. It was small enough that we decided to not bother housekeeping with. We left for lunch and came back sometime between 1:30-2:00 to start getting ready for the wedding. At about 2-2:30, I put my baby down for a nap when housekeeping knocked on our door asking if we wanted the room serviced. I was in the middle of getting ready for the wedding so I wasn’t able to answer. The knock however woke up my baby and my husband was trying to take care of him and take care of responding to housekeeping. They saw my husband’s struggle and kindly said they could come back later to clean room. We said that would be great.||Out of the blue we get an angry call from a man saying that this will be the third time they’ve serviced our room and that it’ll be when the girls are supposed to go home. I responded that it hasn’t been serviced multiple times and that they already woke up my baby offering to clean our room, so we want them to clean the room. 10 minutes later management comes pounding on our door saying that they’ve never had such difficult guests and that they’ve serviced our room several times and if we want to leave we can go. Doreen said that if we were to stay that they will only come to our room one time tomorrow to clean and that’s it. She said that she had sent her best girl to clean our room earlier and we hadn’t asked for anything then. Well we hadn’t asked for anything from her because we hadn’t been able to shower or get ready at that point.||We quickly packed our things to leave. As we were leaving they decided to throw in a snide remark about how they’re going to go check and make sure the room was clean.||I’ve never been treated with such hostility and disrespect. It was not our fault that we were given a dirty room. It’s not our fault that half of the towels we were given had someone’s hair mixed in. We did not ask for extravagance. Just the bare basic standard of a clean room upon checking in. Don’t stay here. Management is rude and abrasive, the rooms aren’t clean, and you won’t get any help when minor...

Read moreIf you are looking for a basic place to stay for a more than reasonable price, then this might be the place for you. More a "motor court" than a hotel, all of the rooms face the parking lot, on two levels. || We paid a bit more for a room with a couch and asked for a room on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and basic, if a bit worn and tired. Nice large refrigerator, microwave and Keuring coffee pot. Plenty of counter space around the sink and places to put toiletry bags. The water pressure in the bathroom was awesome and no waiting for the water to get hot. We were greeted at check-in by Jolecia, who was most pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is the standard BW fare (although no fresh fruit other than some apples). Most BW's have coffee available all day; while this one did not (the breakfast room was blocked off after 10AM), they did let me slip in to get coffee after returning from dinner. The downside? It appears this property caters more to longer term guests (workers) and people with some type of housing voucher. We did not feel unsafe, but it didn't feel like a place for leisure travelers. The breakfast area was quite crowded early (7-8 am) and we ended up leaving and coming back after 9AM. The pool area had umbrellas with no fabric on them (???); no restrooms at the pool; no place to rinse off; no pool towels; spa was pretty green. Overall, it was quiet (especially after the pool closed at 10PM) and we heard no noise from other rooms. Every staff member we came into contact with was pleasant and helpful, especially Jolecia and Phil. We normally stay at the BW Plus near Old Town, but chose this property because we wanted an outdoor pool where we could soak up some sun (came from the gloomy beach area) and the other BW only has a small indoor pool. Taking the pool out of the equation, for not much more money, the other BW is a newer, nicer property, with large rooms and tiled walk-in showers and is more walk-able to restaurants, etc. (Although this property is next door to In-N-Out!) This property has two big selling points - the friendly staff (shout-out to Jolecia!) and the...
