Budget Inn — Hotel in Temple

This is a pretty low class place. I got my rooms off of Priceline and when I arrived, I was worried about being robbed while staying there. After I checked out and went to work, one of the teenagers on the crew informed me that he left his cd's in his room. I took him back and he went in to get them and the person in the office said that no cd's were left in the room. The father got upset and went in and told them they were left in the room and they better show up immediately. And what do you know, she went out and came back with them. Must of been a miracle!!!! After I returned home, I realized I had left a pair of shorts in my room. I called and was asked to call back the next day. I called back and was informed they had found my shorts. I informed them that I wouldn't be back for about 6 weeks and they said that would be no problem. I called back a week later to check in and they said everything was fine. I called back again, a week later and to inform them that my cousin would pick them up for me and what do you know....they don't know anything. Everybody acts like I never talked to anybody and give me the excuse that they are not responsible for things left in the room. Problem is, when someone tells you they found them and will hold them for you, in my opinion, that makes them responsible. What a crock of [--]!!!! I will NEVER stay in that hotel again!!!! I am in that area at least 5 times per year. Instead of trying to compensate me and earn trust, they would rather lose repeat business. That is what you get when our Beautiful Country gives tax deferred business loans to immigrants that don't respect our people, let alone the USA. Do not give them your business....they are not worth...

Staff was great, that’s what the star is for. First off the place was near empty and we got an upstairs room in BTE. We got to the room and it reeked of smoke (asked for a non smoker), was hotter that than outside and the A/C didn’t even cool 5 foot away much less the room. We couldn’t stand the heat after 30 minutes so we went to Walmart and other places for about 1.5 - 2 hrs. Came back and the room was still hot (enough that we were sweating). We had 2 shop fans in the truck from the move. Plugged them up and let them rip. Now 3 hrs later and the room is finally down to a reasonable temp. Our room was not well cleaned. There was mold in the bathroom, stains on the curtains, cuts and stains in the carpet. The room lighting is poor and the patio door doesn’t open from the outside, no scanner or anything, so I was stuck outside until my grandpa got back to the room. There is only one I’ve machine on the otherside of BFE. The stairs to the bottom level are a hazard. The top step is about a foot plus to the next. I stumbled down and pulled a muscle in my back. I went to heat up some popcorn and the plate and plastic ring were missing. I went to the front desk and the personnel told me they didn’t have any extras and that if it’s not glued down people take it. The shower water is erratic going hot and cold without moving the valve. Had to go ask for an iron and the room is “freshened” with little trees new car scent one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed and WILL NOT be returning and urge anyone thinking of staying here to...

It was my 1st night there when I saw a man entering my room through my window next day at 11 something in the morning 😳😳😳😳😳. Almost had a heart attack. What is a man doing climbing through my window. He tells me to open the door that I am supposed to check out. I am like what 🤔🤔🤔😳😳😳. I am shaking and asking myself what the hell is going on . I open the door the other man at the front door say it’s time to check out . I am like dude, I am half asleep, tired like a nonsense because I worked all night and by the way if you go check your records I am not supposed to check out today it’s next day. Then the guy walks out and tells me to go back to sleep after giving me a mouthful of nonsense of why they are waking me up. Dude!!! What the hell was this all about. Next day I go to give the manager my peace of mind he is supposedly out of town. House keeper excuse they knocked because they wanted to clean 🤔🤔🤔🤔. Dear house keeper if someone does not open for you that means they don’t want their room cleaned then. They are busy. Crazy place...
